I love the family restaurant they have great food,decent prices ,and great service!! Love the owners wife sweetheart so down to earth and is genuine and caring!!!!
Visited on 6.30.2025 and had breakfast before driving to Minnesota and Iowa. After about a 20 minute wait, I finally got served by Amber. The French Toast was excellent. I think a 4 rating is fair considering the restaurant wasn't full and several servers looked at me until Amber took my order. I would definitely eat here again the next time I visit La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Great food, big servings, and very reasonable prices.

La Crosse Family Restaurant is a great spot to take the family, offering the best prices in town and accommodating wait staff. The restaurant is clean and spacious, able to accommodate large groups with quick seating. Their breakfast options are a highlight, with dishes like biscuits and gravy with eggs and Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes on Wednesdays. All of the food is homemade, from soup to cheeseburgers and french fries to their Monte Cristo. Meals are filling and come with a generous portion size with amazing food and service.
