“This was the first time I had ever been to this bar, and I really enjoyed myself. I met up with a friend and her group for a birthday party. It was a delightfully welcoming bar, great service, and felt very much at home. I loved the layout and watching people spread out and truly relaxing.“

“I was here as part of a group after getting very poor service at another downtown establishment. I was so happy to enter a beautifully decorated space and get great, prompt, friendly service. The other patrons were very friendly and welcoming as well. We will be adding Thrunies to our yearly Christmas bar crawl stop!“

“Great little bar. I was less than pleased with the $10 minimum credit card charge. They allowed my friend to start a tab and she only had a $6 credit card charge. I was not very happy about that but it was a great place to have a few drinks with friends. Quiet and laid back atmosphere. Perfect!!“

Get on the text alerts so you know when John is making fish and frogleg fry, also When the ribeye steaks are getting cut right in front of you. Since you are already there, stick around for a euchre tournament and catch a game off football. Ask Mike if they play where you can buy bottums...“
“The restaurant is beautiful and peaceful, just perfect! While it is rather minor, the waitstaff forgot to refill my requested beverage until nearly the end of our eating. The restaurant only had 3 other tables, so not a case of being too busy. In a restaurant of this caliber and price, I expect nearly 100% every time. Aside from that, we were very pleased with our choices: salmon and French onion soup.“
