We got hungry and googled a place to eat which led us to The Shed. Awesome cheese curds, pulled pork and baked beans. Locals talked to us at the bar and the bartender/owner was very attentive.“

“We were on our way home from Lacrosse and wanted a Bloody Mary! We found this place on google! When we arrived the owner was working it use to be her dads bar. We ordered a Bloody Mary and she asked if we want a regular or loaded! We obviously ordered the loaded one and it was more then we ever imagined!!! It was such a good price too!!! These bloodies use to be her dads baby and she continues the tradition! They are only on Sunday and she only makes so many!!! They were 10/10. She was so friendly and welcoming. “The owner challenged me having my service dog in her establishment. This sucked. I informed her he was my service animal and as such allowed. I didn't have a vest on him... he doesn't like it. So be aware. Most of the time this place rocks.“
“Came on a Sunday during the Vikings game. Didn't have chairs for our table but that really didn't matter. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Beer was cold, people were polite and the bartender was spot on. May be a small joint but still a good atmosphere.“

“Wow the owner Andrie is so kind. The staff is so friendly and accomodating to small or large groups of dinners. The Black Horse offers a salad bar every night of the week. The shrimp and fish are my favorites, the portion size is very good. This is a hidden gem. Great gathering place, great event space, you can enjoy the food at the bar or in the restaurant area. If you bring kids you can sit in the restaurant area and not feel as if you are in a bar.“

“What can I say about this place other than "Thank You" to Matt, his amazing parents and the regulars that make Market Street what is is. On a random Saturday I decided to follow a group into the bar to grab a quick drink and walk the rest of the town. That quick drink turned into 6 hours of fun and laughs that memory's are made of. The drinks are strong, talk is friendly and the mustard is something you need to ask for (seriously just do it).
