“I'm a Sparta native and stopped into Harris crossing because my dad worked with Ray Harris on the police force, and I wanted too talk too Doris, so my husband and I stopped in and I met Brian Harris and he was so helpful, telling me he knew my dad, and family and it was great too talk too people who knew / remembered my family... I love Sparta and can't wait too relocate back there wth my husband and have our life there.. I feel so good when I'm there and it's my home away from home... “This was our first time here today. Very attractive and clean place. Very friendly staff. Our food was great! We started with the pretzel bites with beer Cheese dip. They were delicious. I love Rubens, so that was what I went with and it tasted great. We had very large sandwiches, so we took half of them home. The owner stopped us on the way out, and was very friendly and welcoming. He thanked us for coming in. We will definitely be back!“

“River Run or Sparta municipal golf course is a gem. Fast greens for sure. Mature trees line most fairways and come into play ocassionally....especially the way I hit the ball. In the upper $40's but is worth it. I've paid more for worse! And it just on the outskirts of the city of Sparta where shopping and services are plentiful. Give the place a try, you won't regret it!“
