“The Root Note is a La Crosse classic! Only gotten better under Jared's leadership. I only wish they'd bring back the banana Nutella crepe from years ago, it was a childhood favorite of mine. Love all the events they host, and the friendly inviting atmosphere.“

I feel much better supporting a Minnesota based company, rather than a global company that supports groups/countries that are bombing and killing innocent babies and children.“

“Very comfortable area , with lot of lounge space , very comfortably seating (sofa, fireplace, work tables etc) area all around the building. several options for food and coffee . free wifi . the environment is like 'Starbucks' . my favorite place to hang out and spend my free time on the campus. lot of parking around the building too.“

“I don’t do allot of reviews, but the espresso and coffee here are the best in La Crosse and I feel deserve some special mention. Easily the best I’ve had in town. No tip policy is nice too. David also nice. But the coffee sets it apart. Top notch. I’d give 10 stars if I could.“

“This cafe at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is definitely hard to beat! The staff is absoluely amazing, I was served the best tiramisu I've ever had here and the lattes are great too! Its a wonderful place to meet with friends! My book club meets here monthly now!“
