“The Root Note is a La Crosse classic! Only gotten better under Jared's leadership. I only wish they'd bring back the banana Nutella crepe from years ago, it was a childhood favorite of mine. Love all the events they host, and the friendly inviting atmosphere.“

“Not only is their food so yummy, their drinks amazing, they have the best customers too, I ordered for 8 people did not plan well and went by myself. Instead of taking two trips to my car down the street around the corner, one of their customers helped me out! Highly recommend Grounded Patio Cafe for food, drinks, coffee or somewhere to enjoy good music with nice people!!“

Although its a drive thru the reason I gave atmosphere 5 stars is because it was very clean in the drive thru and nice looking building and drive thru.“

“Today, I got the summer butterfly drink and it was really good. I did see a hair in it, but I’m gonna be honest I still drank it. It was really good and $8 so I didn’t want it to go to waste. Workers were super friendly too, if I could give a 4.9 I would.“

“Always a nice and welcoming environment! I come here every morning before work and the staff is always lovely😊 The inside is always clean and presented nicely. Rarely have ever had an issue with my drink, and when I do the staff is ready to help! Bakery items are also nice and fresh every time I order one. Highly recommend this location!“

“I don’t do allot of reviews, but the espresso and coffee here are the best in La Crosse and I feel deserve some special mention. Easily the best I’ve had in town. No tip policy is nice too. David also nice. But the coffee sets it apart. Top notch. I’d give 10 stars if I could.“
