“We love this place. I’m not usually a big steak eater, but their ribeye is spot-on. The scallops, shrimp, and seafood specials are always excellent. Garlic bread and mashed potatoes are crave-able. Stiff drinks, and always worth trying to save room for tiramisu. Look forward to trying the ribs soon. I’m always surprised that we only end up spending maybe $20 more for the two of us than we would at some mediocre chain. Make a reservation :)“
“Had a business presentation here, nice meeting area, the rest of the restaurant looked very elegant and a definite date night vibe. The food was incredible, salad, main dish (steak, salmon, smashed potatoes), and a to die for key lime pie. We had about 20 people and the 3 servers were on top of everything, super pleasant to boot.“
“Classic nostalgia food, can't get better than this then a drive in car hop Old skool burger place. The burgers were great, taste like what a burger should taste like. Onions rings - crispy and delicious. Service good as it gets. Chili dog was good, nothing fancy but chili, cheesy and chopped onions. Pork tenderloin sandwich, taste okay, not much flavor besides a pork ground patty bread and slap on sesame bun with lettuce. Overall everything is great, only drawback for s that is cash or check only- no debit or credit cards. They do have an ATM.“
“Fast and friendly service. Drinks mixed just right. The wings and bacon dynamite onion rings I would highly recommend (without bacon if you do not eat pork like myself). Would give more stars if possible. Prices are very reasonable.Parking: Just a rather tight squeeze to navigate around comfortably, but it's more than sufficient for the establishment.“
“Flew in late at night to LSE Airport and was pleased to find out once I and my colleagues got to our hotel that not only was there a restaurant but that the kitchen was still open. We all had shared a pepperoni and sausage pizza and it was super good. Staff was also super friendly.“
“Upon walking into Mary Cody's, you're treated with a nice replica of what would be an Irish pub. It's a great environment, nice and cozy for great conversation. This being my first visit, I'm sure I had that face of "What am I doing here, I need help!" I was quickly greeted and had the cream of the crop for eating locations, I took saddle at the bar.Looking at the limited menu for breakfast, everything was tempting. I took the following: Meat Lover's Skillet, Eggs Benedict, Biscuits and Homemade Sausage Gravy, and Buttermilk Pancakes.Meat Lovers SkilletIt was expected. Well executed. I didn't need to season the dish. Came out fresh. Nothing to write home about, but their take on the Meat Lovers Skillet is solid. Let's be honest, can be purchased anywhere in the area.Eggs BenedictEggs were runny and perfect. I'd happily buy again.Biscuits and Homemade Sausage GravyHANDS DOWN, the best sit-down biscuits and gravy in the area! Most restaurant have Chef Mic(rowave) in the back, nuking biscuits and gravy. Not here! You can tell that this dish is made from scratch. I'd love to take an IV direct into my vein and just pipe the gravy into my bloodstream. *Chef's Kiss*Buttermilk PancakesPancakes are hearty and filling. I'd have no problems recommending the pancakes here.If you're looking for value and QUANTITY, go somewhere else. If you're looking for a true under the radar breakfast place, with great and quick service, friendly atmosphere, and all the dishes coming out perfect and fresh. It's worth the money. Easily a top 10 hidden gem breakfast spot in the LaCrosse/Onalaska area.Biscuits and gravy, BEST IN THE AREA.“
“Well done, I rarely give 5 stars across the board but this place earns them. Ethan our server currently enrolled at UW Lacrosse was very good. Ravioli was excellent. Foxglove cabernet is a great choice of wine. A wonderful place and a very nice evening.“
