If you’re looking for a bartender who can mix drinks AND life advice with equal parts sarcasm and charm, Jimmy’s your guy. I asked for “something strong but classy,” and he handed me a drink that tasted like it was mixed by James Bond on a student budget — perfect. He’s basically the bartender version of Google: he somehow knows what you want before you even finish the sentence. Also, he pours heavy enough that I started tipping like a millionaire halfway through the night. Don’t let the smile fool you though — Jimmy will roast you harder than the lime he just torched for your cocktail. 10/10 would let him judge my drink order again.

Brothers Bar in La Crosse is hands down one of the best spots in town. The atmosphere is always lively, welcoming, and a perfect balance between fun energy and great service. Every time I’ve gone, the staff has been on point, but I especially have to give credit to Kam behind the bar.
Kam is the kind of bartender every bar wishes they had—friendly, attentive, and incredibly quick without ever making you feel rushed. He remembers faces, makes spot-on drink recommendations, and somehow manages to keep the vibe upbeat even when the place is packed. But what really made the night was the bartender, Kam. He was stellar—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about making sure every guest felt welcome. He whipped up my drink just the way I wanted it, offered spot-on recommendations, and even made sure my friends and I had everything we needed without having to track him down. In a busy bar, Kam’s welcoming energy stood out and made the experience feel personal and polished.
