Came by this place by chance on a work trip, so glad I went in! The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was so good I went back for a second night and got their salmon special. Steve is so friendly and fun! I can’t wait to come back again!

Great food even better staff
Food is good but I hope you’re okay with folks around the bar blowing vape clouds inside freely. Bathroom was clogged and disgusting

First time eating at Fathead Steve's and it was great. It is more of a bar atmosphere but respectful for sure. Everyone was super polite and it was pretty quiet and low volume for a bar. Bartender was great, the people in there were also great and very nice. HUGE servings. You will not leave hungry! Food was good and it was at our table maybe 10 minutes after ordering. I dont have any complaints. 5 stars🙏

Absolutely great food! I especially like the more one-of-a-kind menu options. Been here many times and never once disappointed!
First of all, Steve is a dog with a big head although there was an guy there with a huge head so I was guessing he was Steve at first 🤣 This place fits in the dive bar category with all the requiste smells, decor and local vibe. It was clean, warm, and inviting but definitely a dive. The bartender/server was Wisconsin friendly and super attentive. She got our order right and the food was delicious. We ordered a cubano and southwest casadilla that got to us in maybe 10 minutes max. Glad we stopped in. It was a pleasant experience!

Fathead Steve's – Review
Fathead Steve's delivers big flavors in a laid-back, no-frills setting. Known for their generously portioned burgers, loaded sandwiches, and bold takes on comfort food, it’s a go-to spot for hearty eats. The vibe is casual and welcoming, with friendly service and a local hangout feel. Great for a satisfying, unpretentious meal that hits the spot.

Recommended dishes: Pickle Fries, Cheese Curds
Tried Fatheads for the 1st time, very disappointed. With a limited menu, I choose the cheeseburger, asked for lettuce and tomato on it, got no tomato, and the lettuce was fried with the burger. Burger was so dried out, it tasted like it was cooked a week ago. I would not recommend this place to anyone for the food. Based on my experience only.
Very disappointed, atmosphere was more bar than restaurant, seating to a minimum, the menu was a little odd. I chose a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. I received no tomato, the lettuce was fried! And the burger was over cooked and dried out like it was cooked last week.
I would not recommend eating here.

Standard bar setup. But the Viet pork sandwich was great. Had these nice lightly spicy cucumber pickles, a standard Viet veg mix on it. And some pretty spot on pork. Juicy and tender. Oh and the curly fries were a good contrast to the soft sandwich.
