Our waitress was nice but the wait was a bit ridiculous. We came with 7 people part of the party got there early and were told 45 min wait well waited over an hr. And it was insane to watch 2 people be sat at tables that could have sat our whole group.

Great friendly service!! Food is a bit pricey but pretty good especially when they do certain specials.

The cheese curds are pretty great! Huge but a bit salty.

I really wanted to like this place. They have different offerings than other places. We arrived at 1100, were seated right away, food took too long, the French toast was delicious but just warm, bacon just warm and cooked too the point of disintegration! It looked beautifully cooked but must have sat for too long. The breakfast potatos also over cooked. I like crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. These were also cooked so long there was no soft potato left. It then took too long to get the bill etc. Maybe not best to come for brunch.

If I had known this was the old Arterial, I would have passed.
Who the heck ever heard of a muenster-only curd appetizer choice.

The food was ok, and the place was too loud . More like a bar with food.

We arrived for dinner to find that they were out of all of their specials and one serving of a menu item two of our party tried to order.
Not a stellar way to introduce new city residents to the place.

We went for brunch before dropping my mom off at the Amtrak station. The breakfast potatoes are perfectly seasoned and deliciously crispy! Great portion sizes. Not pictured, but highly recommended, is the short rib Benedict. Succulent rip with a bright hollandaise is an excellent pairing!

Fork & Fable is the best kept secret in La Crosse. Consistently excellent food in a nice, friendly neighborhood bar environment.

F&F serves some of the more unique food that La Crosse has to offer. I've been here a few times, and the menu seems to get seasonal adjustments. No matter what I get, though, it's always top-notch.

Parking: The parking lot is a bit on the small side. You may need to park on the street during peak hours.
