delicious food and friendly staff
Service was VERY friendly and prompt! Fastest breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Food was good too! Cute cafe. ?
Everything was awesome! 10/10 Fast ticket time, pleasant atmosphere, and even a space with toys for children. As a mom of soon to be three this is always appreciated when a business takes time to cater to those with families. We notice!
My wife and I were looking for a place on Sunday which served lunch for her and breakfast for me, but without the hour wait. We stumbled across the Greengrass and were very pleased with our selection and good fortune. We will definitely return. Good food, good service! All anyone needs.
I love Greengrass Cafe. The food is absolutely delicious. They have a cozy atmosphere with really nice servers. Go check them out!
I love this place, it just doesn't open enough.
The eggs Benedict is so good. Some of the best I’ve ever had. bright diner feel. The service was welcoming. Only complaint is the food took a while to come out, but definitely worth the wait!
The unblemished service in addition to their surprisingly astounding food and warm atmosphere makes for breakfast or lunch trip you will soon not regret. You are sure to become a repeat customer after just one stop in.
Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend visiting this place!
The food was decent, but the service was absolutely terrible. The “waitress” seemed inconvenienced with bringing our menus and taking our order. Brought the check halfway through the meal and didn’t say a single word to us outside of asking for our order (after we asked her to take our order). I was absolutely shocked by this. The hash browns were dripping in oil, but the pancakes were great. Prices have definitely increased and are borderline overpriced. Such a shame because the food was good.

Great food and friendly staff!
Underwhelming. Ordered the turkey club. The cost $11.75. For that kind of money I expected a more impressive sandwich. In my opinion, nothing about the sandwich justified the price. Ordinary and overpriced. Maybe something else on the menu might have made a better impression.
Update 2 years later: This used to be my favorite place in the area. This is my first time back here since Covid and I’ve updated my review from a 5 to a 3 and I feel like I’m being generous. That’s because the food was still decent. There were several things that were disappointing. Service was super slow and there were only 2 other tables, they didn’t have my favorite Cajun Benedict anymore (but whatever), the order by phone sucked. Every time I tried to scroll back to the menu The screen would close. It took me like 15 tries and I am tech savvy…. A cup of coffee was $3.50 and it was like water. My friends gravy for biscuits and gravy was cold even it came out and took at least 10 minutes to get back when we asked for it to be heated. I don’t think I’ll be back again. :(
This is a cute little cafe/diner. The staff here were very friendly and helpful in getting our order together. We had a to-go order which meant that we had to just kind of sit around and wait for a little bit while they prepared it. We ordered breakfast sandwiches but it sounded like they were trying to make a whole meal out of it. Don't worry, it turns out to be a very good sandwich. The quality of the food was very good. The bread was nice, the eggs were fluffy and soft, and the meat was very good. The hash browns were very delicious and greasy, as diner hash browns should be. The coffee was mediocre, diner quality as well. Parking was a bit difficult, you just had to find some street parking. It would have been nice to have some sort of outdoor seating as well, but whatever works is fine. During the covid times, all the staff were masked.
Great place for lunch. We are both vegetarians and ordered a sandwich which was quite tasty. For the first time we had cheese curd. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our request for a small portion for cheese curd.
