Love this place. They have phenomenal food; awesome homemade chicken dumpling soup with salad bar, green leafy salad by the way! & their fried fish are my favorite, with the veggie melt as a close second...and so much more, a great selection of bar grill food. The atmosphere is also lovely and the staff are as friendly as they come. Highly recommend!

The soup is great, the batter fried cod is always good, but avoid the BLT sandwich. It's dry, is very minimal, with tiny amounts of bacon, lettuce, or tomato. For $10 that BLT is a crime.

Houghtons is our favorite lunch place whenever we are in LAX. Stopped again yesterday; roast beef special was outstanding and the chicken dumpling soup is a must. Both great comfort food for a cold day. Friendly staff (Linda) makes the visit very nice. Keep up the good work.
really nice decor. Combo appetizer batter-fried basket (onion rings, mushrooms, and cheese curds) was also really good. Batter-fried cod was white, flaky, and delicious. Soup and salad bar was also good and well maintained. Our server, Addy, was nice, efficient, and friendly. Overall, a great experience!
