We went there mid afternoon on a Monday. Great deals, friendly service and happy hour started (2 for 1 tap beers)! Burgers were pretty decent and you couldn't beat the price (2 for 1). We will be back.

Ordered the Divebar Philly. Absolutely delightful. Dynamite Sauce was a game-changer. I’ve been to Howie’s a bunch and it’s always solid. Great food. Great place to catch a game. Great place to get together with people. I always recommend.

Howies is my go to burger and wings place. They always have the current sports on tv and their staff is freindly and attentive. The Baja burger is supreme and I love the variety with the burger of the month.

Finally went here for the first time yesterday and the food was awesome. Ordered the cheesy bacon bombs and the rodeo ranch burger with dynamite fries. They were all amazing. HIGHLY recommend the bacon bombs and dynamite fries. Oh my god. Pictures don’t do the food justice lol. Will definitely be back at some point when I’m in the La Crosse area again.

Food is decent, prices very reasonable. Great daily specials and probably one of the top happy hours in the area. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of tvs, not really a bad spot. Service was quick.
+10 for not charging for extra ranch cup. On my latest visit.
Being 65, and having eaten at every restaurant from Los Angeles to New York, I’ve never had better service than we did today at Howie’s! The food was good, but what made the meal was our server Kylie K. We mentioned that we like a certain type of beer and without asking, she brought us three samples of other different kinds of beers and talked with us at length about the different kinds!! I’ve never had a server in all my life like we did today at Howie‘s and this will definitely bring me back here as long as she is here thank you!!!
