I've had great shrimp here, and the shrimp gumbo I had the last visit was really yummy.
Sadly, my medium rare steak was actually so Bleu, so raw that I was just, insulted. Ive had a terrible burger or in some weird sub bun, was bland and dry. I'm not coming here again, but 3 stars for the hamburger steak and shrimp. But y'all have to have more than just those....

Nancy was our server 9n 2/13/2026 and she was friendly, informative, funny, bubbly. Loved the energy of everyone working. The woman who bussed tables and bartender were hilarious and fun to banter with. Quaint little place. Old decor. The food was good and reasonable (,tbone for 30$), we had 2 entrees, 2 deserts, 2 apps, and 2 specialty drinks for under 100$ before tip. It was a great time there! Will be back!

Food was mediocre. Beer cheese soup lacked any kind of beer taste . Not very exciting food.

I came in tonight (2/11/2026) and got a reuben sandwich, which was absolutely delicious, and a couple Peddler Brau's. If you like a nice, nutty flavored ale, the Peddler Brau is perfect. If you are lucky enough to sit at the bar, the bartenders are all wonderful and always make sure you never have an empty glass. 10/10, would recommend.

Our server was sweet and considerate, food was so delicious (ESPECIALLY THE FRENCH ONION SOUP) and the atmosphere is vintage and classy.
The fries are super crispy and perfect and the food isn't too expensive. Will definitely return!

Charming place. Ordered a Clubhouse Deluxe. Soggiest sandwich I have ever had. Not a regular, but I will return to try something different. Husband's grilled rueben was A+ he said.

The French onion soup was delicious! I thought the broth was some of the best I've ever had and I'm a soup snob. The waitress was very nice, friendly and clearly experienced.
I also got the Cod sandwich with fries which was underwhelming. I never experienced fried food with so little flavor and seasoning. It looked perfect but tasted like nothing. Also, I'm also a ranch snob and their ranch was not good at all. It was the tangy sour kind. I also hate to add that I didn't like the tartar sauce either.
I could just be comparing their meal to Flipside whose fish, fries, ranch and tartar sauce are the best every time.
I will go again for the soup and possibly try a burger that many people are saying are good.

A friend recommended this spot, so we stopped in the day after Christmas—right after I picked up my hearing aids.
The service staff’s energy was infectious and fun, and they kept up with consistent table checks. The atmosphere felt like a cozy, antique-style pub—comfortable and interesting to be in.
The food was delicious across the board. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Restaurantji Recommends
This restaurant is very good . Omelets were loaded with all the ingredients, I had a Denver omelet, bursting with green peppers onions Ham cheese . Oh so good served with toast or English muffin. And very reasonably $9.00 bottom less coffee and water . If you are in Lacrosse , highly recommended this place

I highly recommend this establishment. The culinary offerings and service are exceptional, however, it is advisable to plan your visit during off-peak hours such as lunch or dinner. This is due to the fact that these times are particularly busy. However, if you have the luxury of time, it is certainly worth the wait. The space can feel somewhat confined at times. They do provide a bar, but due to its small size, it is challenging to secure a seat during peak periods. Nonetheless, I believe that it is still worth the effort.
