Someone had recommended trying Kai Lia’s Kitchen for their famous desserts. As someone who enjoys exploring diverse cuisines featuring different cultures, with a particular appreciation for Southeast Asian cuisine, I was very excited to try this place for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The customer service was the worst I have encountered in all the years I have lived here, with the treatment from the owner/cook and staff being downright horrendous. The food itself was below average and did not offer an authentic experience of Thai, Vietnamese, or Hmong cuisine. The dishes felt watered down and lacked flavor. For example, the pork eggroll resembled a veggie eggroll with no visible meat and very little flavor, while the accompanying sauce tasted like generic sweet and sour sauce from a jar. The spring rolls had stale, brown, saggy lettuce and a peanut sauce resembling plain peanut butter and salt. The pho broth tasted chemical-like, almost as if made with highly concentrated chlorine tap water. I am extremely disappointed in my experience here. If you want genuine Southeast Asian food, I suggest trying MK Eats, Mimi, or Hmong Golden Eggroll instead, as they offer authentic flavors true to the culture. I will not be returning to Kai Lia’s Kitchen.

Currently sitting in the parking lot with my friend after making our first purchase. We got two egg rolls and two cupcakes. We were CRYING over how phenomenal it all was. Insanely high quality, low prices, and we were already debating going back in for more before we’d even finished what we got. I have NEVER reviewed anything in my LIFE, as you can see from my name i didn’t ever EXPECT to, but this was otherworldly. As someone who just moved to Wisconsin and was not pleased with their selection, this place brought the life back into my eyes. 100% recommend.

I'm not from around here but was in the area. Saw this place on tik tok and went with my family. Atmosphere was very calm and sweet. Food was amazing. I had the beef Pho, and cupcakes. We tried the chocolate ones and the fruit one (with strawberry and blueberry on top). Everything was amazing. The workers were very fast and nice. As you can tell I have no pictures of the cupcakes posted because we ate them to fast! Excellent overall. We are definitely coming back!
