We are a family of four from out of town. We each had a different meal and everyone loved their meal. The flavors were amazing. Great wine selection! The atmosphere was perfect.

Great place to have a dinner date. Amazing atmosphere and really impressed with the flavor of the sauces used. I will definitely recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a nice place to dine.

This place is such a vibe! I really loved my experience here. The food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all impeccable. If you’re in La Crosse, this is the place to go. Albana was our server and she was the absolute best. I will 100% be back next time I’m in town.

We went to Lovechild based on google reviews. My husband and I love trying fine dining restaurants whenever we visit new places. Our appetizer was Shrimp Aguachile and it tasted okay. My husband ordered Chilean sea bass which was very delicious. I ordered Pasta with gorgonzola cream and pistachio and it was good. I had chocolate cake with mascarpone for my dessert and it was okay, my husband had dessert with peaches (forgot the name) and it was great! I have mixed thoughts about their food. Our appetizer and chocolate dessert could have been much better. Ambiance is top notch!

We loved everything about this place. The service is impeccable, ambience feels like you’re in a super fancy restaurant in Chicago but is so approachable children are welcome (although we left ours at home). You can dress up (which feels appropriate) or come in shorts and flip flops (not gonna lie, I was kind of judging the people who did). The food was stunning and the drinks perfectly mixed. I wish we lived closer so we could make this a regular date night stop. I hope to return soon!!

Gluten-free Menu upon request (see pic). The Habanero Margarita is amazing. Highly recommend the Lamb skewers (Grilled lamb spiedini) for an appetizer, although the Triple Cooked French Fries with Horseradish sauce are my second favorite. Definitely two of the best appetizers I've had, and I am kind of a foodie. The Ribeye with Chimicurri is amazing, but it is a tie with the Braised Lamb Shank... you can't go wrong with either one. The flour-less chocolate cake is a great choice. So yummy, the Pistachio Creme Brulee is good... however, the custard on ours was not cold, so my favorite is the chocolate cake. Overall a great restaurant with excellent service and a perfect setting for any occasion!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free Menu available upon request (see pic) and servers are extremely knowledgeable about allergies and dietary restrictions.

Parking: There is limited free street parking. You can park in the garage across the street. The garage is free nights and weekends. Check the website for hours.

We had a great night at Love Child! The vibe is relaxed and cosy and our meal was excellent . We split a peach/arugula/pistachio salad with a light vinaigrette and a delicious rib-eye. It was so good we lingered for dessert and coffee. Our server, Albada, was knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic- thoroughly lovely, she made the evening special for us!

I recently dined at Lovechild and I must say, the food was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance exuded class, with comfortable seating perfect for a date night with my wife. Our waiter, Ethan, impressed us with his exceptional knowledge and detailed descriptions of the menu offerings. If I could, I'd give this restaurant more than 5 stars. Lovechild is definitely a great spot for a classy date night.

12 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Among the best dinners we’ve ever had (across the US & Europe). World class food, service & atmosphere. We’ve enjoyed the lamb skewers, chicken w/ homemade croutons & pork tenderloin - all amazing. An absolute must-dine in La Crosse!
