Milwaukee Burger Company - La Crosse

Destiny was an excellent bartender. She was attentive to our bar and meal needs. Her pleasant personality and smile enhanced our experience. She was very busy on a Saturday evening but never rushed our process or experience. Thank You! I live between the Madison Milwaukee area and will return next time here.

Over priced want-to-be red robins. Burger was greasy, underseasoned and below average. Consider the fact it was close to 20 bucks, and the only thing on their menu is burgers (and sides and a chicken sandwhich, maybe tenders) and it makes it hard to find a reason to come back. Bloody mary had good toppings and lots of them, but the drink itself was meh and again, expensive for what it was especially considering ive had better for cheaper. Me and who I went with both agreed we wouldnt be back and Id advise that there are places with full menus, whos burger destroys this places for literally 1/2th the price.

Unfortunate ly this trip to the restaurant was not a good one. The booth we sat in was not very clean and the noise from the work on the roof was quite loud. We ordered a burger and the grilled cheese and both were average at best. Waygu truffle burger was pretty bland and the encrusted garlic bread grilled cheese was extra charred. Also ordered a chocolate shake and was surprised and how much the size has changed from previous times I've ordered. You used to get the large glass with the tin container leftovers and now it is a smaller glass with no tin for the same price. To top it off our waitress said she had to wait for a clean glass to make it which equals hot glass and warm ice cream. Overall not the best we've ever had but our server was very nice and did a good job.

Our food was overcooked and cold. The cheesecurds were pretty good, but for what we ate amd not getting refills it was too expensive.

Don't sit at the bar if you actually want food, they were too busy socializing with a friend to take my order. Once I finally ordered food it came fast but had to flag 2 people for the sauce i asked for and halfway through my burger realized was missing half the toppings but at that point I just wanted to leave. Came before peak dinner time to try to avoid longer wait and got the opposite

I give it a 4 because sometimes it’s a 5 and others it’s a 3/2. For a long time it was a given it was a 5 But about 18 months ago it became a hit or miss. (Cold or overly greasy) They always try to make it right but not a good feeling to have to say something. Can be excellent at times though - guessing staffing issues. Waitresses are always top tier. Clean also. Burgers of the week are also worth a shot.
