We came and although the ice cream side was quite busy there were 5 employees working. There was a sign that said if we needed help to come Get someone. The gal who came in said they couldn’t help us. We had probably over $100 worth of items we wanted from the case not to mention floor items we had in hand. There were also about 4 other people in there waiting to be helped as well. Hopefully the $5 ice cream sales were worth all the money you lost tonight.

This is such a fun little place. It doesn't have a ton of homemade chocolates and candies like a lot of similar style shops, but they have a ton of other specialty candy you can't find in standard grocery stores.
Where the shop really shines is its atmosphere. I don't know how long it's been in operation for, but it's like taking a step back in time to the early 1900s. Everything is so beautifully well maintained. Even the bathrooms have a vintage feel with teal sinks. Whether you're stopping in for an ice cream or want to browse the candy aisles, I'd highly recommend adding this place to your must see list when in downtown LaCrosse.

I've been to this ice cream shop a few different times when meeting new friends who are not from the area. I love recommending this place and showing people the shop because there aren't many like it around. It has a nice, cozy feel when you walk in, and the store always smells really good. I would highly recommend checking it out when you get the chance.

We've been here in the past but it's been years. Went about a week ago and was shocked by how disengaged the servers were with customers, barely listened to orders and the ice cream was so soft and they scooped so sloppily that we needed to get the kids dishes so it didn't just fall off the cone. Flavor is still good.
Kid-friendliness: Some smaller kid options would be great as ours and the people in front of us complained about the waste that would be produced from the kids not being able to finish theirs.
