I ordered a sample of 5 truffles and a signature Pearl's vanilla latte or something like that. I accepted the "do you want whip cream with that" when asked. I did not get any whip cream because some kid who did not take my order nor was he even in the area when I ordered came in and told the girl making my drink she was doing it wrong, argued with her a little and so they remade it and then he handed it to me with a big smile with no whip cream. I didn't say anything bc of the whole vibe about him- he seemed really attached to the idea that he made the drink the way it "should" be. It wasn't that great. It just tasted like an overly sweetened coffee. The espresso was good. It was not burnt tasting like starbucks coffee is and It was the proper amount for a large. I'd definitely get a latte there and just do my own sugar next time. The truffles were not amazing but the ice cream drinks seemed yummy. The turtles looked good. I'd like to try more of their stuff because the place is really charming. The maple flavored truffles may have been better. I wish i would hve ordered them instead of the 5 truffle sample box. They looked like they were made with a better quality chocolate or something. Will submit another review next time Im there.

Had a craving for ice cream, and found this old time parlor. Great building and interior antique decoration. Waffle cones made on site, plain chocolate dipped and with sprinkles. Had a chocolate dipped waffle cone with snapping turtle, excellent! My wife has a plain cone with cherry chip and Irish cream, also excellent. Server was very pleasant. Can't go wrong with. Take your cone and walk around the riverfront.

Delicious ice cream! Wonderful service and great attentiveness to the crafting of cones. Ambiance is historic and nice. A true staple to downtown La Crosse!

I was pleasantly surprised - "the Pearl", of which I've heard people speak, truly does have terrific ice cream. I'm a frozen custard guy, but my Mississippi Mud waffle cone definitely gave custard a run for the money. Next time I'm in Lacrosse, I'll plan to visit again.
I am begging you from the bottom of my heart to make Cherry Chip a permanent flavor. I heard two employees petition the same thing last week and I have never agreed with anything more ever. Cherry Chip forever.

The ice cream overall is pretty good. I like Ranasins in south side better because it is all homemade. The people working there are okay but they always ask you for a huge tip but if you don't tip then they won't give you a lot of ice cream. It is always crowded inside and there is limited seating outside and good luck trying to find parking. It is also important to note that their menu is always changing. Overall I would go there to get ice cream plus the president Biden loves it.
