My husband and I heard great things about Rosie’s, but based on our experience, I think things have really gone downhill here. The service was slow. The coffee had what appeared to be pieces of cardboard floating in it, and the server did not seem pleased when we asked for new cups. We received margarine instead of butter. The syrup was tasteless—maybe watered down? The toast was very burned. The rest of the food was fine, but not equivalent to what we can get for much cheaper elsewhere. We will definitely not be back. Very disappointing, especially given how well this restaurant seems to rate.

Food was okay. Might not be the best place for halal food or vegetarian.

Very disappointing breakfast experience at Rosie's.. My husband's $3 coffee was visibly watery and he said that his first cup was lukewarm..he said that he has had better coffee from a gas station. Husband said that his sausage and gravy mixture was good but that it was served on a hard biscuit and the 2 eggs on top were rubbery ($15.50). I wanted a light meal so ordered 2 eggs and a side of rye toast off of their A La Cart menu. The toast was very good, homemade marble rye. The eggs were prepared correctly;however, the A La Cart menu listed each egg at $2. Our itemized receipt listed $5 for 2 eggs and $3 for the toast. When the waitress asked how our meal was, I let her know about my husband's watery coffee. She brought more watery coffee for him...but he said that at least it was hot. When I asked why she charged $5 for two $2 eggs, she said that she did that because they had an actual meal that sold them for that price. To be clear, we have no problem paying for a good meal and my husband usually tips between 25 and 30%. We didn't care for the meal, the price or the waitress' attitude and left a 10% tip.
Rosie's is a small, traditional diner. We both shared a cinnamon roll which was nicely sweet and the dough was very soft. This was very good and the best thing we had - 5/5 stars for that hands down. We also ordered "The Deuce" which consists of 2 eggs, 2 bacon or sausage, 2 pancakes, and toast. Respectfully, all of those were very average and didn't deliver anything special. The bacon was crispy, the pancakes slightly undercooked, and my sunny side up eggs had nice big yolks. The place is noticeably small, with several would-be patrons deciding to leave because there was no available tables. Also, there's a table in the back that is specifically for parties of 5 only....I don't believe there's a sign on that table because numerous groups of 3-4 people tried sitting there, only to be promptly moved by a server (or just ended up leaving the restaurant). They have a patio but it wasn't open due to forecasted rain. The patio is dog friendly.
Vegetarian options: Some veggie options on the menu - clearly labeled
Parking: Free parking on the street - plenty of spots depending on how far you want to walk
Wheelchair accessibility: Small, crowded restaurant. Navigating in wheelchair would be tough, perhaps impossible.
