Came in to place a To-Go order for chicken strips, there wasn’t much business at the time, most people were drinking. My order for chicken strips took almost a whole hour. If they were busy I would have expected to wait, but I couldn’t figure out why my food took so long considering they didn’t have any other business. Won’t be ordering food again unless it’s a last resort.

I pass this place when going about town and have always been curious.... Wednesday afternoon i finally stopped in, about 12:30. There were people @ just a few tables. Bartender Michelle was friendly & attentive. I told her i drove by Tuesday night about 6:00 & there were a lot of cars. She said Tuesday is trivia night so it tends to get quite busy. Noted. I asked if today was a usual afternoon, quiet? She said yes, usually 2 to 4. I opted for a couple of tap beers. They have 22 on tap! I like how each sign indicates: beer name, brewery, ABV & city. I opted for a Wisconsin Amber by Capital and an old reliable... Old Style. Parking is easy w free street parking. There were two or three steps to get in, up to Sloopys once you open the ffont door. Once inside, Sloopys definitely has a comfortable vibe. Thanks for the welcoming inaugural visit Michelle & Sloopys. Looking forward to another visit... maybe bringing my appetite this time. Their burger menu is fun, burgers named after most states.

Usually only get their wings here and they are always great with great selection of sauces. Service is pretty decent as well here. This is one of my favorite places to go to for wings in La Crosse.

I stumbled upon Sloopy's Bar and Grill recently and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly smiles. The staff were incredibly attentive, making sure my drink was never empty and my food arrived promptly. And speaking of food, the menu offers a fantastic variety of classic grill fare, all prepared with a delicious homemade touch. I particularly enjoyed their burger – perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Beyond the great food and service, Sloopy's has a wonderful community feel.
