I was introduced to Tacomex by a buddy about six months ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s easily become one of my favorite spots in La Crosse. The food is incredible, the hospitality is top-tier, and the overall vibe is unmatched. Alex is a very genuine and down-to-earth guy and someone I’ve been fortunate to get to know personally. If you’re looking for an authentic experience, this place is the real deal—best of the best.

Wish I had taken pictures of the food we had and would literally leave 10 out of five stars ⭐️ if I could. The flavors were amazing and spot on. My grandparents have had a Mexican restaurant for 55 years and have been voted best Mexican restaurant over ten years in a row so for me to say this place is great it truly is. Will definitely be there for more again and again. The owner actually came out and talked with us and was very nice 😊 don’t sleep on that chili bacon cheese dip😋

The food can be good but my past few experiences have been subpar. Downtown La Crosse has a good handful of taco places so it’s not like a major loss. I feel like the quality has declined in the past few months. Business hours are not consistent. Staff very rude and inattentive as of late.

Some mentioned poor service in the reviews but I found it adequate. The food was pretty bad though. I grew up in an area with many Hispanics, so I may be slightly more critical. If you love taco bell or qdoba, I’m sure you’ll be fine with this stuff too.
