It's cold outside, but inside this cozy coffee shop it's warm, and so is the very friendly staff. Cody was my barista; he was welcoming and even willing to chat with me while I waited for the Amtrak to Winona.

The Resting Grounds is a lovely coffee shop nestled in yhe heart of North Side La Crosse in the train depot. it is a nice place to study, read, or chat with friends. the coffee is always on point, and the worker Corey is the best! Welcoming environment, best coffee.

We were told this place had just opened to the public very recently, and they weren't serving food yet. But the coffee drinks were super, and the young man working was so friendly and nice!
