We visited in April and this was the only restaurant that was open, so we were grateful to have any source of warm food. That being said, the food was great and the one guy running the place was friendly. Great views of Lake Superior as well!

Cassandra takes on the north ! Yall! Took the hubby with me to the north where I have some distant relatives - after TWO DAYS - we needed quite the break from them - love em tho - hope they don't find this post Anyways , the hubby and I decided to go to this cute little island town and have some dinner it was SO YUMMY I can only hope to go back one day!!! We had the Friday fish special and some gumbo - that gumbo changed the entire trajectory of my life yall . I NEVER knew I was a fan of gumbo until this day. Some angel named Mickey ,I believe, blessed the Madelaine island with that fantastic creation. SO GOOD - and the food came out fast all the workers were so kind

We went late in the season on a very windy day. Lots of places were closed for the season. We got at this place as they opened, short staffed. But the service was exceptional, food was good. We sat at the bar with the locals. Good view, good tips, great experience.

Busy, large place. You order at the window and seat yourself. Go through the back door to the deck and there are stairs that go right into the water!

Just stopped in for a couple drinks before catching the ferry. Also knew they would have the Packer game on. Ya Hey Dere. Not disappointed to find the Packer faithful into the game. Nice place, good service, great view sitting on the water.

The beach club is a great little bar with beers, bar food, and a lovely place to sit a spell and enjoy the scenery of Madeline island.Easy to find right next to the ferry landing. Street parking is plentiful. Family friendly.The wait staff is caring and welcoming.

Nice outdoor dining areas, We had the fish fry, one fried and one grilled. The fried was definitely the best. Onion rings and fries both good. Good chowder.

The food is really good! I highly recommend the chicken sandwich and seafood chowder. You go in and order yourself, you have a number you put on your table, and if it's nice, snag a table outside by the water! Cute ducks and boats to watch. The food is really worth the price!
