“Amazing burgers, good price. OK selection of beverages, sparkling water, Coke products, a few common beers (Corona, Modelo, Miller). Friendly staff. Mostly under tent seating, the only downside was stuff lying around for the dog to get at.”

Had a fantastic wonderful dinner last night (smoked trout appetizer, steak, trout with polenta, stuffed tomato, panna cotta and key lime) we shared everything. It was fabulous. “The food at the Beach Club is absolutely positively delicious!! yesterday we had some of the very BEST Soup that we've ever had!! Everything is served Fresh, Hot and exactly as described!! from thier Starters to the Sandwiches to Burgers and Wraps and everything in betwee, Quality in every bite! And the Chili has to be mentioned, it is amazingly unique and so delicious! Hats off to Brandon who runs this incredible Kitchen, he is an amazing Chef & Manager!! “Spent the day hiking, arrived at 4:30 at The Pub not knowing what to expect, and it was phenomenal from start to finish. Dinner service didn't start until 5, but we sat in the bar area - great ambiance with very mellow music - had a glass of wine, ordered food at 5, food came out quickly. Service was great, food was AMAZING. We had the Guiness Pot Pie and Shrimp Basil Pesto and both were absolutely fantastic. Watched the sunset from our table. Wonderful everything, highly recommend!!”

“Had an excellent cup of coffee at Mission Hill Coffee House this morning before hiking the trail from Town Park to Big Bay State Park.

There was a bit of a wait, but it was absolutely worth it. The coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, the staff was friendly, and it was the perfect way to start a morning on Madeline Island. If you’re visiting the island, I’d definitely recommend stopping in before heading out to explore the trails or shoreline.”

The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone visiting the area!”

We tried both the fish and chips and the grilled lake superior whitefish and give both ywonthumbs up We drank some cider made right in BAYFIELD and got to enjoy the Stephen Hull Experience as the sun set.
