My husband loved the BBQ ribs he had (and he is picky about BBQ). Service was super quick and very nice. The atmosphere was relaxing (I liked the antiques on the wall).
Vegetarian options: A vegetarian could cobble some kind of meal together by ordering a few sides.
Parking: Plenty of free parking outside the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: This is a kid friendly restaurant.

Came in at 8pm.. servers and cooks in the back seemed disappointed to see people coming in. Server was nice and friendly. Food was good. Wish my husband would of gotten his chili first tho.
At 845 another server was putting the chairs on the clean tables & sweeping like crazy. They could of waited another 15 mins.. it felt like I was being pushed to hurry and leave.

Two thumbs down. Dried out, bland beef brisket. Chicken was cooked nicely. Nasty BBQ sauce full of High Fructose Corn Syrup. No quality restaurant would serve this junk. Sides were bland. Terrible. Restaurant was clean and nice enough though.

The worst... You pay 60 for 1 diner and the eating utensils are plastic.

I could not believe how terrible my meal was at this Famous Dave’s. My Sassy BBQ salad had just lettuce and nothing else. The pulled chicken tasted old and dressing was nonexistent. No shoe string potatoes (said they were out). I returned this salad and ordered the beans that came cold and watery, corn, which was old-tough, watery and kernels dried out. The side salad was tasteless with old plain white bread croutons with no seasoning. A totally uneatable meal.
After arriving back home I ate a peanut butter sandwich, which was delicious in comparison. Before our Famous Dave’s closed in Janesville, we never had a bad meal.

Cool stuff on the walls,was not a fan of the flimsy plastic silverware. Brisket was chewy like an eraser. Over $80 for 2 people and didn't order apps,or desert. $5 lemonade. We will not be back.
