HuHot Mongolian Grill

Classic Mongolian barbecue place. Lots of variety. The Asian salad was really good as well. Liked the service, fun chefs. Best of all the online menu recipes. All you care to eat for 19 bucks in the Dells isn't bad. Suggest you go up a number of times and get the smaller servings so you get to try a lot.

This is Chinese food for Americans. If you want authentic Chinese food, you will need to go elsewhere. If you haven't experienced a Mongolian grill, what happens is you decide all the ingredients you like and they cook it in front of you in a rotating grill.

It is all you can eat but the protein is limited to chicken, pork, beef and catfish. The atmosphere is much like a fast-food restaurant. The staff was friendly and came around enough.

I wouldn't go back but that's because I don't like generic Americanized Asian cuisine. I demand a little better quality. But if you like Asian cuisine like PF Chang's or a higher quality Panda Express, then this might be a good option for you.

We’ve been loyal customers at HuHot and usually love coming here for a great meal, but this recent visit was incredibly disappointing. The rice, which is usually a big part of our meal, was either rock hard or extremely mushy and overcooked. When we asked if fresh rice could be made, our server told us, “No, that’s just how it is when it’s slow.” This was surprising, as we’ve never had an issue like this on any of our previous visits.

Feeling let down, we asked to speak with the manager. After a 10-minute wait, the manager SIERRA finally came over, only to argue with us, insisting, “That’s how the rice always is.” We’ve been here many times and know this isn’t the case, so the manager’s dismissive attitude and insistence on arguing made the experience even worse.

This visit left us questioning whether we’ll come back. HuHot has always been a favorite, but the poor customer service and lack of care this time were unacceptable.

1st time here. Food was excellent. Do wish they had nutritional info posted about the sauces- very high in sugar and salt. A bit pricey but since it's all you can eat I guess it's ok. Bowls could be bigger- would cut down on back up of people trying to get tiny bowls of food cooked. Also- signed up for email club and completed regisration but waitress said I would NOT earn points that day. What? So if you want to earn points I suggest signing up online more than 24 hours before visiting. ?

We love this place our only complaint is we wish the peanut sauce was on the edge of the sauce bar instead of the middle. My partner has a peanut allergy and half the time she has to avoid half of the sauce bar because the peanut sauce has splashed I to 8 other sauces. We also wish they would bring back chopsticks.

Really really great food, server explained it really nicely so we made great choices. Noodle and toppings bar choice were excellent, on top it the soup and salad was amazing. They cleaned grill well prior to new dishes. I would also recommend them clean the floor around the grill fully every hour, so floor doesn’t look too messy to some. Rest we (adults) my peaky kids loved it as well.
