We had to wait over 15 minutes since some lady was trying to figure out what she was going to get for a wedding coming up.“

“I ordered a birthday cake for my mom's 100th birthday from Walmart bakery in Lake Geneva. Olivia was thorough, helpful, patient, understanding and fun. AND most importantly, Olivia baked thee best and cutest cake everrrrrr! My sister ordered a cake from local award winning bakery and Olivia's cake blew theirs outa the water. Walmart cake had perfect amount of tasty buttercream and the cake was delicious, tender and moist. Everyone complimented Olivia's cake on taste and decoration. From now on, Olivia at Walmart is my go to cake place!“

“Hazel’s Diner Tarot and High Tea April 2024 My daughter and I attended “Tarot and High Tea” at Hazel’s Diner and enjoyed THE BEST tasting food of any High Tea we’ve ever been to. All of the finger sandwiches are on their homemade breads. We especially enjoyed the roast beef, and the turkey. From the sweet things on the tea tower our mutual favorite was the lemon custard filled croissant. There were plenty of flavored tea selections for every palate. And what a fun addition to have a tarot card reading! We love High Tea and have been to: The Palm Court at both The Drake in Chicago and The Plaza in NYC, The Tea Room at Harrod’s in London, Tea at 1024 in Honolulu, HI, and High Tea at The Baker House in Lake Geneva. The tea tower of food at Hazel’s High Tea beats all of them with their fresh, homemade food. You can taste the love and care that goes into every morsel. We will be back again and again!“

“Ding Ding, Winner Winner, Kevin said it’s his new Favorite! Best Eggs Benedict he’s had. Giant Homemade Bun, Thick Thick Sliced ham My French Toast was Great (Homemade bread), the little fat Sausages were cooked perfectly, the only negative for me and it really isn’t a negative is they had breakfast potatoes rather than hashbrowns (they do have them during the week, just not on weekends) Definitely worth the drive and the wait. You won’t leave here hungry but you will leave with a to go container.“

Antique chairs and tables, seating inside or out (with a view of the park and the bay) and a plethora of for food and drinks (from the Green Grocer or the coffee bar or the wine & spirits bar). The atmosphere can be laidback or buzzing--especially when there is live music from Wallace Tallman (usually weekend afternoons).
