Upon arrival, we were met with a very kind host. As she was about to show us to our table, we heard a server state, “check what time the kitchen closes.” Mind you, it’s 8:30 and they close at 10, more than enough time for two people to eat, have a drink or two, and leave.

We then saw her discussing and looking at us from the corner of the room, which only added to the uncomfortable feeling we both felt.

I included two stars instead of one because at lease we were able to talk to the individual and let her know how her actions were perceived, prior to leaving. We did not eat at this establishment.

Two tips: Make your reservation prior to 8:30, even if it is for Valentine’s Day. Or head to Crafted just down the road. Crafted has a great ambience and great staff (shoutout to Kayla/Kala).

Very evident it is for the golfers but does not advertise as that. Couldn't find it and after we did and were going in we felt very out of place. We were so hungry we just had a salad. Just not for me?‍♀️

At times they are short staffed and it takes longer to get service but overall the turf smokehouse is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or appetizers

Absolute worst restaurant experience. Waited over an hour for food after ordering... to the point that my child was crying from being hungry... when food finally came the burger was raw in the inside (and yes, i did even request well done). The place was hardly busy, but those that were there were all sitting waiting.. and waiting... and waiting...

Worst experience in a very long time. We waited for an hour and a half for our dinners (after waiting 20mins to even place our order) and our server hadn't been to our table in over 30mins. Finally got up and left. We told the host that we were leaving and then we had to wait for the manager to come tell us “the food is almost up”. Barely an apology from the front of house manager. Would never go back.

Great Salads, Tacos, and Sandwiches.I usually order to go and everything is fresh and hot. Peter in the bar always greets me with a smile and makes sure everything is top notch. Try Turf for dinner. You will be impressed.

We took the shuttle from the Ridge and we're glad we did. Paul the driver was entertaining and informative. We had the special prime rib which was delicious and enjoyed the bread pudding for dessert.

I love coming here on my lunch break or after a round of golf. Food and service are always top notch, and you can’t beat the view!

We always enjoy going to the Turf Smokehouse. The food is always good, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Peter makes the best mocktails for me and is always fun. We enjoyed having Vee as our server at our most recent visit. And of course, the view is beautiful.

Went down to turf by myself for a quick lunch while traveling for work. The food was GREAT! And the bartender, Peter, was so kind! Next time I’m in town I will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere and good service! Vee was my bartender/server and she was so nice and helpful in helping me decide what to order! Will be back for sure.

I have been eating at Turf for a couple of years, since starting a job with Ice Castles. Veronica and all the other staff are always super accommodating, and willing to serve with a smile. Food here is fantastic too!
