William our waiter was wonderful. Very courteous, providing a clear understanding of the specials for the evening. The steak was perfect and delicious as was the walleye. We were not seated in the main dining area and the room was dark.
Hunt Club redeemed themselves !!! Great experience Great food And this visit was top notch. Very pricey but exceptional tonight so 4 hundo for 2 people ok.
Very disappointed. Food was served cold (including a very expensive wagyu steak), and some items were awful (undercooked shrimp cocktail, romaine salad that tasted like it had been washed in dishwater). Such a disappointment as we have been patrons for over 10 years and always loved the Hunt Club. Post covid the Chef keeps changing and the current chef seems like he's trying to earn a Michelin star with overly fancy menu items and wanting your order placed all at once (including appetizers, entrees, etc.), to space out the courses .. well, for us it resulted in a 70+ wait for our dinner, and most of the items were room temperature. We will not be going back any time soon (maybe when the Chef changes again!).
We truly enjoyed our food. Two of us had the walleye and it was so delicious! The filet and ribeye were equally good. The ambience is beautiful and service was great.
We were on our honeymoon and celebrating his birthday. Everything was perfect!! I asked for a window seat for the view. Plus, they were so accommodating and remembered our celebrations and addressed them. Our server was tentative and polite. I've been here before, as usual the food was excellent! Definitely will go back again.
First of all, was super excited about going back to this beautiful venue after many many years. My husband and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and thought it would be a special place to celebrate. The small room we were seated in was less than scenic . I wish I would have requested a table high top in the bar area. This is the restaurant I remembered. Beautiful with many windows. However, really enjoying my husband‘s company, I did not enjoy staring at a wood paneled wall for 2 hours After ordering a starter appetizer, our server then told us we should most likely order our entire meal because otherwise it would take over an hour to get anything else. My husband and I have honestly never experienced this before in a high-end restaurant. My husband ordered the fillet. I must admit it was cooked perfectly and quite delicious. I on the other hand, ordered the scallops. Definitely not worth the price, and the portion was tiny to say the least. Honestly, don't think we will be coming back unfortunately.
We have been dining at the Hunt Club for over 18 years. This is always our go to restaurant for date night. My wife and I enjoyed our best dining experience yet on Friday evening. As always we started with cocktails at the bar served by friendly bartender Ralph then sat at a table with stunning views over the Player golf course. Our server Tiffany was top notch, food presentation was impressive and taste just delicious! Can't wait to return.
One of the best steaks I've had in awhile. Beautiful ambiance looking out into the lake. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable. Will definitely go back!
The best meal I've ever had. We had the cowboy Kobe steak - cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The lobster Mac and cheese was fantastic. We also had the Brussels sprouts - a unique recipe that that was excellent. The capstone of the meal was the great service provided by Zack. He was friendly and did a perfect job.
bar area is active with seated dining. Noisy because of bar and glass walls. quiet dining in area with wood walls and fireplace

Steaks were ordered medium rare and came out well done, scallops were cold. Server was very good at his job. Ambiance was fantastic.
Food and service was excellent. The crab cake was outstanding as well as the onion soup. The price for the risotto was quite high but was very delicious.
Noise level was high because there were a lot of larger groups of golfers that were dining. The positive was that I sat closer to my date.
Too pricey for the food. Can get the same quality at the village super club for less than half the price
SO loud. Good food, good service, but 10% away from being great. My aged NY strip was very subpar, not tender and very gristly. My wife's risotto was fantastic, as was the bar service, which was exceptional with well-crafted classic cocktails. The noise level was awful, however, limiting conversation during a business meal was not ideal.
