It’s always busy here in the summer, so we were happy to get a table on the second floor overlooking the lake when we went in October. The porch was enclosed in plastic, and it was very comfortable up there. The pizza and salad were great.
I finally made my way to Oakfire and Wow, the pesto sausage pizza was too good and the pepperoni & honey pizza need I say more. Fantastic. During my visit I had spoke to one of the managers Sammy and she was so friendly and accommodating, it really made my experience. I can see why this place is rated and recommend highly by everyone. From the food to the service was top notch and will definitely be coming back to visit when Sammy is working. 10/10 would come again.
I stopped by with colleagues on our way back from Waukesha to Chicago for a coffee break and to grab some additional food. The Affogato was really excellent, featuring vanilla gelato with a pistachio sprinkle on top and espresso served on the side. The only downside is that, since they serve alcohol, they are not permitted to serve coffee in takeaway cups.
