Worst restaurant EVER!! Ate there once last summer and NEVER again unless the food gets amazingly awesome!! Overpriced for sub-par food and COLD! Worst schnitzel I ever had-definitely didn’t know how to cook-if a restaurant has a bad chef and one that doesn’t specialize in the cuisine advertised-it’s NOT worth it-.not sure if we will try again as new restaurant that will probably specialize in burgers and salads-sad!! ONLY good thing was the root beer!!!
Delicious food. Their mixed drinks were great. The adult root beer float is a must try!
The food looked so delicious...but was definitely not.
Very nice resturant. Every booth was used during COVID. Staff was wearing masks. Dinner was good. I would recommend the pretzel appetizer and BBQ burger. We sat under the dome. Pub atmosphere.
They have a very friendly atmosphere with good food and a nice selection of house drafts. Food selection is basically high end bar food with some American- German specialties.. Overall nice place to eat if you are looking for casual comfort foods.
Good food, but place not clean and sat us in a booth with a large hole in seat, thank goodness seat long enough we didn't have to sit on it. Must have changed the fish and chips recipe, good ,but not the same. Not going back anytime soon.
So far it's pretty cool lol it's a lil busy on Valentine's day lol but the service was excellent the waitress was amazing...she came around just enough to make sure we were good but not so much that it was over kill lol...but in the middle of dinner rush it was fantastic service ..I will definitely be back for sure 100 stars ❤️❤️
Took couple of friends for a fun on Sunday. We ordered some drinks and food. In one of the plate, friend of my found not one but two long blond hairs. At this point he did not even look for more just returned the plate and had only drinks. Manager (Matt) was not the best person to resolve this situation. We left this place unhappy. Better luck next time!
Went in for a late lunch at a time of the year in the middle of the week at a time of the year when there is very little tourist activity. The server was very attentive and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The food was typical "pub food" and was also very good. We ordered a boneless chicken wing appetizer that had a crispy coating yet the chicken was juicy and flavorful. My wife doesn't care for spicy foods, and our server recommended the Parmesan sauce- a great choice. This brings up an interesting point. If someone wanted or expected a soft or non crunchy coating on these wings, they may be compelled to write a negative review. Too many negative reviews are written by picky eaters that no restaurant is going to please. Our sandwiches (Reuben and Italian Beef) were very good and our expectations were exceeded. Once the weather warms up, this place will be packed because it is just that good. We will be bringing our Corvette Club here for a "luncheon run" because we know they will enjoy a place like this.
Ordered curbside pick up to eat in our hotel room. Food was fresh with large portions. The burgers are delicous as well as the scotch eggs.

We were staying at the connecting hotel and thought it would be convenient and good. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to appear at the hostess stand. Then waited about 10 minutes for waiter to come over. Another 10-15 for drinks. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger and onion straws. The onion straws were cold and burger was cold. The cheese was not melted. The chicken strips were sliced paper thin and completely dry. My son had the schnitzel sandwich and the hun was 100% soggy. My daughter had a dinner salad which was good. Our bill was $67 before tip. Waste of money for unsatisfactory meal. If our waiter came around to ask how everything was I would have complained to her. She was nowhere to be found. When she brought the check my husband told her the meal was terrible and she said oh sorry. Here is the kicker. We were one of 3 tables in the entire restaurant. And 3 people at the bat!! Imagine if they were busy. Completely disappointed.
Everything about Sprecher Restaurant was outstanding. While waiting for our hotel, the kids tried a flight of three different soda pops in all the Sprecher flavors. They had a blast! Reasonable prices. Then for dinner, our family ordered several items to share. Everything was a home run. We tried the ribs, Reuben, cheese curds, quesadillas and pretzels. We brought bottled soda home with us to share. Food was hot, served on time, delicious, made exactly as ordered. Worth the trip to Lake Geneva just for Sprecher!
We always go, every year for winterfest. We went, seated pretty quickly. Took us to our table, went to sit and was greeted by a big hole in seat, I mean stuffing coming out. Table top worn out. Good thing long seat, so one of us didn’t have to sit on or in it. We asked to switch and told no other booths available by person who seated us. Waiter was extremely friendly. Ordered our usual fish and chips, they must have changed recipe, tasted more like from freezer to microwave fish. Not sure we will go back. Definitely not the place we were used to.
The food was fantastic. Root beer was awesome. We had a flight of beer that was huge! Out of all of the different breweries I have tried I have never experienced of beer flight that was as massive as this one. On top of that we ordered a few other beers to try out and our bill was only $34! I couldn’t believe it. Each glass on the flight was a half pint! Came with 6 glasses! My significant other said the scotch eggs were awesome. My only complaint was the type of music that was being played threw the mood off. We did go again the next day for lunch and they were still playing the same rap music. During lunch there was a 90-year-old man that came in for his birthday for his wife, you have to look at the demographics I’m sure people at that age wouldn’t wanna hear that kind of music. Research the area a bit! The service was good enough.
First time visitor. I was excited to try their food as it came highly recommended by friends and family. It was a Friday night Fish Fry. The fish was delicious. The price for 3 pieces of fried fish was affordable. They also offer baked cod. The baked French onion soup was out of this world. My only complaint was I ordered fried cheese curds and when biting into the first one, it was cold in the middle and near frozen. Our server Mason made it right. I will definately return here to try their other menu items. Otherwise 5 star worthy.
