I am new to the area and have been planning to try Doyle’s Dogs for a while and am glad that I finally made it over. I rode over on my bicycle from Jefferson on the Glacial Drumlin Trail on an empty stomach and was fantasizing about a chili dog the whole way and I was not disappointed. The staff was cheerful, the atmosphere was nice, and the chili dog was amazing. It made for a great fall day.

We love to go to Doyle’s Dogs, especially to their outdoor stand. There is nothing better than going there after a walk on the bike trail to enjoy a Chicago hotdog. The staff are friendly and very efficient. We were there Saturday and Sunday this past weekend because it was gorgeous weather and their last full weekend at the stand. We come from Fort Atkinson and it is worth going the extra miles to enjoy the food and atmosphere that Doyle’s Dogs provide to their customers.

Cool place. Stopped for a quick Chicago style while bar hopping. Fantastic! Definitely a great spot for a quick bite with fresh flavor.

I never miss a chance to get a Doyle’s Chicago dog. Every time I’m in the Lake Mills area I stop in even if to just get one for later. I’ve been there many times and always a great experience. I was there during the Christmas season last year and dined in. As I was enjoying my delicious meal Mr Doyle came and handed me a Doyle’s dog ornament. Was a very nice gesture and will be added to my tree each year. Today my wife and 2 kids stopped down for the town and county days but got there pretty late. I checked to see if Doyle’s was open downtown, I was too late. I thought on our way out about 3:30 that I’d swing by the stand and see if they were still open. They were not, however as I slowly turned the corner Mr Doyle spotted me looking at the stand and could tell I was there to get food. He waived me over and said he’d be happy to get me and my family a meal. He was just about packed up and ready to leave so we said no we don’t want to impose but he insisted it was no problem. He took our order and promptly returned with 4 hot dogs and even put in extra popsicles. We asked how much and he said don’t worry it’s on him. We handed him the little cash we had left and he said no thank you but we insisted. He then said no problem I’ll put it in our donation bin. Not only did he re open for us but he also didn’t want our money. The generosity and kindness of this local business owner is extraordinary. If you have a chance to stop by Doyle’s don’t miss it. It’ll always be a wonderful experience and fantastic food. Thank you Mr Doyle

We're from Chattanooga, TN and were vacationing in Lake Mills. We popped into Doyle's on our way out of town, and the Chicago dog and baby Italian beef were delicious. Friendly staff and locals. Get a dog or an Italian beef here if you're in the area!
