This is our first visit to Sunrise and we couldn’t be more pleased. The lodge is located on LacVieuxDesert in the heart of the natural beauty of northern WI and Michigan,s upper peninsula. What makes the place so special is the staff who are so friendly and accommodating. Phil and Erica, who seem to run the day to day operationns, are great. The cabins are clean and comfortable with outdoor fire pits and all the comforts of home. We had one person in a wheelchair and the accessible...

Make you feel like family 🥰..go out of their way to make you comfortable! Did SO much for my disabled wife... she couldn't leave the cabin,they brought our food to us!🥰... never been treated like to! Plus EVERYONE is so friendly!! And as a former chef, the food is unbelievable! You want a family friendly vacation with activities, great food and friends.. you HAVE to come here 😊👍... been here more than once.. always loved it!

Located right on a beautiful lake this resort has a lot going for it. Great cabins and a restaurant serving excellent breakfasts The staff is friendly and helpful. We felt welcome here. Love it
