“Boom Bay is one of the best bars in the state. The staff is friendly and attentive, the drinks are cold and well priced. Everytime I come here I’m happy. Learned how to play towers and played too much bonus hole. The tabs machine must be broken because I didn’t win.“

“Food is solid and reasonably priced. Bartender makes a good bloody mary. Saw someone said this place is political. I have been here a couple times and never noticed the cardboard cutout in the corner he referred to. You gotta have some serious issues if that is what triggers you.“

Perhaps this pot of gold is located at the end of a rainbow and shines brightly in a spot but only briefly. Desperately looking forward to visiting this bucket list location someday for an ice cold glass of milk.“

“Been to Spectators a number of times and always received great food and great service, until tonight. Stopped in for a bite to eat and sat at the bar. We ordered a a couple of beers and then a burger with fries and a sandwich. When the food came out, the fries weren’t with the burger. I was told, “The fries will be out in a few minutes.” I finished the burger in the usual time it would take to eat one and still…No fries. I waited, and it wasn’t until about 8 minutes later that the fries finally came out. No apology. I refused the fries because I was done with my eating. What’s the point? Bartender shrugged and gave the fries to what seemed to be some of her friends across the bar. When the bill came, there was no discount for the error. When I asked about being charged full price when the fries came out well after I was done with my burger, I was told, “Well, I brought them out.” Given the attitude, arguing further was a waste of time. Very disappointed with the attitude and the lack of apology for the uneven service times. Might be back, but not anytime soon. Still recommended for the quality of the food and most service received, but if this was my first time there, I’d never go back.“

“A couple girls and I frequent this location for lunch, we work right down the road at KC corp. We always choose to come here for lunch, it is usually very quick and not terribly busy to where we can get in and out. Most times we always get Renee as our server- she seems to be there during lunch time the most. She never misses a beat, she knows my order without me even telling her, and if it busy she tries to get our food out to us as soon as possible before our lunch break is over. I’ve never had a bad experience here, the food is always good and the staff seem very on top of things. They have a good system going at this location.“
