“Yesterday, our family came for a celebration of life at Stone Toad honoring my father in law. Naturally, this is a service no one anticipates needing, so I wasn’t sure how to handle the process or if anywhere local would be able to accommodate us on such a short notice. The events coordinator, Stacy, not only got back to me the same day I called; but helped us to navigate what would have otherwise been a stressful event. It was clear she has done this before, and offered her expertise and guidance from having handled this situation prior. She was quick to respond to emails and calls, and was transparent with pricing and Stone Toad’s policies. Not only was Stacy available for questions, but she was present the day of and oversaw the event personally, helping to bring food out to the serving station and collected plates and glasses while checking on guests. She also provided us with a Bluetooth speaker so we could play separate music from what was being played in the main bar area. The food was fresh and delicious.

Stone Toad was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The food and drink pricing were reasonable, and service was fast. This was the least stressful event I have ever been a part of, and that is due greatly to the staff at Stone Toad. Would highly recommend them for future events to anyone looking for an event venue!“

“Ordered perch- delicious, ordered walleye- it was okay, ordered shrimp- severely over cooked, to the point it’s all breads the shrimp is none existent it’s all bread and it’s hard as a rock. Will probably try again, but super disappointed with how hard the shrimp is.“

“Room was clean and king bed was very spacious. My two sons 6'2" and 6'3" found the king to be very comfortable. The sofa sleeper is small, but comfortable. I slept on it and I'm 6ft 240lbs. breakfast buffet was good with bacon, eggs, and make your own mini waffles“

“Been to Spectators a number of times and always received great food and great service, until tonight. Stopped in for a bite to eat and sat at the bar. We ordered a a couple of beers and then a burger with fries and a sandwich. When the food came out, the fries weren’t with the burger. I was told, “The fries will be out in a few minutes.” I finished the burger in the usual time it would take to eat one and still…No fries. I waited, and it wasn’t until about 8 minutes later that the fries finally came out. No apology. I refused the fries because I was done with my eating. What’s the point? Bartender shrugged and gave the fries to what seemed to be some of her friends across the bar. When the bill came, there was no discount for the error. When I asked about being charged full price when the fries came out well after I was done with my burger, I was told, “Well, I brought them out.” Given the attitude, arguing further was a waste of time. Very disappointed with the attitude and the lack of apology for the uneven service times. Might be back, but not anytime soon. Still recommended for the quality of the food and most service received, but if this was my first time there, I’d never go back.“

“We were visiting out of town as my daughter had a Halloween Party there. It doesn't look very big from the outside but don't let looks deceive you. It's two sided so there is plenty of room. It's like what you would call a corner bar in Milwaukee. We were lucky we arrived a little early because by 8:00 it was packed and there wasn't a seat in the house. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. We did not feel out of place from being out of towners.“

“Great eclectic bar. It has that old school feel with tin ceilings and all but has a modern crowd. Its a long bar that even has live music. Great in house PA system. Perfect size and it sounds great. The owner runs sound and knows how very well. Bartenders are very nice and quick. Killer location with a bumpy parking lot. But it fits all the cars to fill the bar. Drinks are stronger that normal but not over done. Great place. Great location. A must go“

“I thought I was looking at an oil painting when suddenly it moved, it was my waitress Renee! She was so unobtrusive and elegant. Our glasses were never empty, the food arrived perfectly, and she appeared just when we needed her. Pure magic. I don't know how she does it but she does it well. Hold on to this one!“

“We came in with a large group of softball girls and they were willing to accommodate our group, were fast and on top of everything! The food was great, drinks were great, and the owner was super nice!

Kid-friendliness: The owner was so sweet! Our softball girls were trying to win ducks. She put in money for them and gave them some tips! She was super and very appreciative! Will definitely come back when we play in the area!“

“It was my 5 year olds birthday and we were taking her out to lunch! My parents had been to Batley’s and recommended it as an option. Her only request was French fries and the rest of the menu looked good for our needs. I had no idea about the outdoor play area so that was a massive added bonus to sit outside while she played on the equipment while we waited for our food. The food was good too and reasonably priced and we liked the smaller lunch portions. She also got the deep fried Oreos for dessert and the servers even sang the wheels on the bus for her at her request instead of happy birthday. She had a great birthday lunch and we will definitely be back to sit outside soon!“

“Just want to commend the staff at Game Day Sports Bar. I attended the last two Packer-Bear games at Game Day, and had the best time! The bartenders (Jeremy and Jen) did an amazing job servicing everyone. They were so busy, yet waited on everyone so quickly and were so friendly and fun to be around! Lauren was the best server and made sure we didn’t have to wait for drinks. Keon was always checking on us to see if we needed anything.
