“I just had the most incredible chicken dinner, and I’m still thinking about it! You can really tell they use fresh oil because the breading was perfectly crisp and clean-tasting. The chicken itself was seasoned so well—every single bite was truly flavorful. One of the best parts was that it came out fresh from the fryer, so it was still steaming hot when it hit the table. Beyond the food, the hospitality is top-notch. The owner and his wife are wonderful; they personally make sure you’re happy and have everything you need. It’s rare to find a place that hits the mark on both great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere! Redd”

“Taste good. I'm surprised they aren't busy both times going there maybe just a slow time. I say that because to me out of all the chicken places around this one taste the best to me. I have gone to slim's and daves and they just dont have the flavor I like. Daves is too much and slims isn't bad but just simple. If you have not tried it I suggest you do.”

“This is such a kid friendly environment. We went to breakfast at the Weathervane but there was a 40 minute wait. They suggested for us to go to the Sweet Lair to wait and what a surprise it was. We were able to get delicious coffee drinks and play bingo and candy land as a family. Thank you for providing the games and toys for everyone to use.”

“I first tried them at a Latino festive in Manitowoc. I try to make it there once a week to get tacos. The owners are very friendly and the food is delicious I Love tacos and this is definitely the place to go. I wish they were open more frequently.”

“TLDR: Great place, particularly on Friday evenings when the menu is larger, but I don't think you'll ever be disappointed! Steve was an attentive and charming host for my gf and me. After stuffed jalapenos (yum!), she did the Haddock, I did the Chicken in the Pumpkin Patch, each paired with ciders. We stayed for the pecan truffle, which was well worth the kcals! The restaurant is two parts: bar (lively dining) and traditional seating in a separate room (quiet dining, with board games over which to socialize). Bathrooms were clean, the decor interesting, and Craig (owner?) kindly shared some of this restaurant's history and evolution. A private room ("The Attic") is available for rent, but we haven't explored that yet. Parking was easy, well lit and safe. We've already returned and will again. It's one of the best finds within a 5-10mile radius.”

Upon entering we were greeted warmly by Monty and seated in an area where we could eat lunch & talk undisturbed to our heart's content about the present as well as reminisce about old friends and good times. Our waitress, by the name of Meg, was a joy to talk with. She answered all our questions about items on the menu and, I think, even nodded approval of our choices. My friend said his Walleyed Pike was delicious and my Cajun Fettuccine with Chicken was out of this world good -- THE BEST! Although Meg was busy with other tables, she took time to talk with us and even consented to take a photo. Thanks Meg! I could go on but I'm sure you can tell we were very pleased with our time at Michiels Bar & Grill in Menasha. 5 stars for the delicious food, the great service, & friendly atmosphere.”

“Beer is cold and plentiful and at the same time is very cheap. I mean you can get buzzed for a few bucks and absolutely drunk for less than 20$ (unless you're not from the midwest or Wisconsin and 5 beers makes you fall over cause you're dirty Bears or Cowboys fan). Not to mention the handmade pizzas are hot, crispy, and hits the spot when you get the munchies after a beer or two or tree.”
