“My family and I have this hobby of celebrating time together while trying restaurants with unique atmospheres.
If you're in the Green Bay area for any reason, Archie's is a must visit.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and conversation. A reservation only establishment, we learned it's a family affair.
With Chef Curt at the helm for about two years, crafting seasonal, local flavors we were excited about the menu. My family ordered the Brussels sprouts and calamari to start. Then with the macadamia nut crusted walleye as a popular dish, I chose that.
The appetizers we chose were absolutely heavenly. The best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted, I could've eaten the entire bowl as my meal (and almost did). Calamari is a favorite for us and this did not disappoint, crispy flavorful, my son almost ate this entire plate by himself!
When my walleye dish was placed in front of me, I was so excited to dive in. The fish was so incredibly tender, divine, the seasonal vegetables cooked to perfection and dripping in such a delicate flavor. The best walleye l've ever had.
In such an unassuming dive bar, to experience hand crafted food at this level of flavor was an experience for us. The service was top notch.
Archie's is really a must visit.
We will absolutely be back, highly recommend.“

“The food and drinks were phenomenal. We had unloaded bloodies, prime rib cheesesteak sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich and the hot chicken sandwich. All amazing and the tots and onion rings were perfect. The service was impeccable as we sat at the bar. We even ordered three 9 inch pizzas (not par baked) to go for dinner! Excellent vibes, service and food! Highly recommend!“

“This is the place to host your kids bowling party! Green Bay Mom's, consider hosting your childs birthday party whether big or small at Village Lanes. Our party was 12 kids plus a handful of adults and we used the party room, which was included! It's also suited well for smaller or even bigger parties. The prices are great for both bowling and pizza/soda. Lemonade is also an option, for those that don't want to serve soda. All the kids loved the pizza. We were able to bring ice cream and they can store it in the freezer. Don't forget the ice cream scoop, but if you do they came through with some large spoons that worked. If you have a small party with no decorations, then you probably dont need the party room and will likely play more games but have less pizza. But if you do a large party and want some space to play games and store presents/party favors/cake, then I recommend using the extra room. They have lots of chairs and tables to use. I brought table covers from the dollar store, as well as colorful plates, utensils. They have small white cups to use for drinks, which worked for us, or you can bring themed or larger ones. I brought minimal hanging decorations but there is plenty of wall space to hang decorations if you want to host all out. Sarah was great with communication and flexible with how many kids showed vs rsvp'ed. Since there were no other parties before ours, I was able to set up early. “My husband, daughter and I stopped in for lunch on our way to the zoo. The food was well worth the stop! We will definitely stop in again if we are in the area again. Also, was 11 am and was kid friendly at that time of day.“
