“Today, I took a drive to the Wooden Shoe Bar & ,Grill at 100 West Main Street, Lena, Wisconsin. It was a nice drive to get there. I was very surprised to see the menu and the July specials menu. I ordered the red, white and blueberry bacon burger. It was cooked medium rare and with all the ingredients the burger ended up being delicious. I credit whomever created this burger. One of the better burgers I have had here so far in Wisconsin

“Went there Saturday for a pool tournament- run by Glen- great job Glen! It was my first time there. I met the owner Kyle, great person and very welcoming! It was pretty busy, the bar tender Lisa was very attentive towards everyone, she was just an excellent bar tender and person!! They have good frozen pizzas ! Great bar had a good time and would highly recommend!!“

“Friday night fish fry was outstanding. Second time that i tried this place. I asked the guy who was from Minnesota and sitting next to me at the bar what he thought of his fish that he was finishing up and he said it was great. I then proceeded to ask a few other random people also who were leaving how their food was and everyone said it was Great. The drinks were good and strong and no skimpyness on the alcohol at a very reasonable price. I give this a 5 star and i will be going back. It was totally Outstanding as i have heard from many others prior to my first visit. I highly reccomend the windmill.“

“Open only on Fri-Sun. Don't let Google trick you. Have visited Hunter's and Fishermans a few times now whenever I'm in the area. The vast quantity of animal mounts is something to take in and absorb. Very cool place to visit. Be sure to check out the visitor log book!“
