“The ultimate dive bar! The place is a little rickety but I'll tell ya they have some of the best burgers around.. The tenderloin sandwich was also amazing! The drinks are super cheap and mixed well which is a plus.. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area!!“
“Stopped on a Sunday afternoon after visiting the zoo.The bourbon cheeseburger is awesome. The bartenders were friendly, and made us some very satisfying drinks.It had a cozy atmosphere.Will definitely go back the next time we're in the area.“

“We had our daughter's birthday party here, and it was an absolute blast! The staff is SO friendly. They answered all my questions with kindness. They let us come in early to set up the party room and let us stay a bit extra at the end. They answered all my questions and helped me come up with a solution for a little schedule mishap that happened on our end. It wasn't too loud or overly crowded. I felt comfortable with the kids running around as it was super easy to keep an eye on them. They take very nice care of the lanes, too! And as a mom who does her research, I can say that without a doubt, they have the best bowling party prices around! If you are looking for a place to host a party or just bowl a couple rounds, I highly recommend Village Lanes!“

“Been searching all over for the best fish fry to my tastes. I am very fussy! I have found it right here! The fish is crispy, which is the way it is supposed to be. We ordered the Pollock and it was so delicious! The french fries were perfectly done and the beans were exactly the way they are supposed to be, a bit sweet and tender as the rye bread was super fresh. We will always come here from now on, and the good thing is, it is close to home. Thanks to you all for such a wonderful experience as we have now found our absolute favorite Friday night Fish spot!“
“First time ever stopping at this establishment. Last Friday night about 6pm. It's very clear there is a specific crowd of regulars catered to here over all others. Wait staff was great, when we saw her... Ten minute wait for a mixer refill isn't all that bad in a packed house. We get it. You're Chambers Hill, you're busy.One hour and thirty five minute wait on the fish plates. That to me is kind of ridiculous. Anywhere else in brown county you will be under an hour, even at River St Pier, the Rite Place, Redwood etc.Perch plate was so salty I couldn't even finish it. Could be a fluke batch of breading? Other halfs plate was perfect. Fries are to die for. Slaw and bread that comes with the perch are also perfect.Great if you have some time to kill. Not so great if you've worked up an appetite on a Friday along with a powerful thirst. Probably have to be at this place well before 5 on a Friday without having a long wait. You'll be tipsy by the time your food arrives otherwise.“
“We had the walleye and perch dinners and all were pretty good. On a rating from 0 to 10, I would say 7.5. The service was Awesome, but they had 1 person bartender and serving and 1 person cooking, which was not good . The waitress/bartender did keep up the best way she could, and did a great job. We will go back.“
“Been here a few times when I come back home to meet friends that are regulars. Definitely the small town feel (which I enjoy) and you get the amazing Wisconsin price on your choice of drink. They have pool, darts and the older digital gambling card games as well. I have never tested the food and don't know what is all served but I'm sure it's good. If you're a city slicker this would be considered a dive bar but it's the real deal and has a better environment than any dive bar I have been too.“
