This is one really neat "up nort" bar! Russ, the owner, is a really cool guy. He can make conversation with anyone. Definitely worth the stop but he is only open weekends.
Have been making a stop here for 21 years in our way up hunting. The owner is the nicest person around and truly treats people right. You can tell he is very appreciative of all his customers. Awesome atmosphere as well. Lots of awesome animal mounts!

Great people, Nice tavern. Always our #1 stop on our way to the hunting grounds in Florence county, wi the Friday of opening gun deer hunt season. They would put on a nice spread of “free help yourself” food. Brats, burgers, Wieners, beans, sour kraut, chips, sloppy joes, hot Turkey gravy sandwiches.... it became a family tradition to stop there every year.
