mid August weekday waiting for the ferry. Cedar Crest Ice Cream, many varieties of this native Wisconsin brand. Food, mostly pizza, only served on weekends. great & plenty outdoor seating on a beautiful day. Cornhole game is another option while passing time. Plenty of parking. Gentlemen inside was very helpful with our ferry questions. Takes 9 minutes one way(18-20min ttl time) to get across the river via ferry. With our ice cream we walked on and left our car parked at Merrimac Scoops. He said it was fine to park & then made great cones and dishes... so many choices....
