Phenomenal burger! This is probably the best burger I've ever had in southcentral WI. Madison has some great burger spots -- Blue Moon and Player's come quickly to mind -- but Ferry X-ing is a bit better than those two great burgers. I was blown away at how good Ferry X-ing's burgers are. Definitely make it a point to hop on the ferry for this delicious journey that beckons forth from the other side.
Burgers here are always perfectly cooked on the flat top and buns are toasted on the grill too! Service is fast and friendly, good variety of food and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Great local place to stop for a bite to eat. Great food, excellent service. Well worth a stop if you want good tavern food and you're passing through. Wife and I had the turkey wrap, excellent smoked flavor, great option on a hot day. My boys had cheeseburgers and loved them. Everything was top notch.
