“My Husband and I chose the Old School House to host our wedding reception for about 140 guests and it could not have been a more perfect day. The owner Kristin and her staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of amazing. Kristin was very responsive to questions and requests all through the planning process. She was very flexible and fantastic to work with, especially a bride that had a ton of questions! This venue included a cute bridal suite for my husband and I to spend the night in. There is also a huge renovated barn to rent as additional sleeping/stay for guests. My family rented this and the place was so cool and just a short walk to get to from the venue. The Old School House is so unique and historic. We received so many compliments from our guests that we chose such a neat place to get married. Kristin and her staff had the venue set up for us just how we wanted it and had planted flowers and freshened up the landscaping just in time for our big day. It was beautiful. There is a room downstairs for the ladies to get ready and the red caboose outside for the guys to get ready. Our guests loved walking around the property and finding so many cool spots to hang out and explore. There is also a little game room and playset for kids to enjoy. We also had late night pizza come out for our guests and everyone LOVED it! It was handmade there by the staff and it was delicious! Fully stocked bar and awesome bartenders that worked their butts off! Devil's Head Resort is just down the road for guests to stay as well. I could not recommend this venue enough for your next event - you won't be disappointed!“

“This place is a neat little pizza restaurant on the north end of Lodi that kicks out solid, traditional Wisconsin-style pizza. It's clearly popular. I went on Friday night, got there at 5:00 pm on the nose, and it was already crowded. They had a wedding rehearsal dinner going, so that was half the place full, but every table was taken so my wife and I had to sit at the bar. We got one of their HUGE garlic pretzels as an appetizer. It came out hot and fresh, and it was one of the better pretzels I've ever had. It was bready and fulfilling. On the menu it says it feeds 1-3 people, but I'd lean more toward the three than the one. It was massive. The kitchen was deep in the weeds when we ordered (probably thanks to the large party that was there for the wedding rehearsal), so it took over an hour and ten minutes for us to finally get our pizza. Normally, this would be a big knock against them in the rating department, but I feel like this wasn't a standard Friday night for them. To be fair, the place never emptied the entire time we were there. The second someone left, there was another party ready to take their table, so the locals clearly knew what's up. The pizza we got had a cracker-thin crust, and the toppings and cheese crowded all the way to the edge. It was tasty and worth going back for more. It was the type of bar pizza you crave as a good Wisconsinite. All in all, other than the prolonged wait for the pizza, this was a solid outing. I hope they have a lot of success because this place is on the verge of being a destination spot for a good Wisco-style pizza.“
“Food was awesome and service was great! Will definitely be going back! I had the crab cake Benny and it was fresh and definitely house made. My husband had the pork belly Benny and he said it was delicious and the pork belly was perfectly crisp. The beer was great and unique and so were the bloody marys. Will be back this summer to enjoy the outside area. Super cool spot!“

“Probably one of the only bars that still offers Tombstone Pizza. How can you go wrong with their selection: Sausage, Pepperoni, Sausage and Pepperoni, Deluxe, 4 Meat. They also have Pizza Fries made in Athens Wisconsin which are amazing: A crust with garlicky cheese and a marinara sauce to dip it in.“
“I want to say how much we truly enjoy your pizza and wings. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, from the person who takes our order to our delivery drivers. So let's talk about the pizza. The crust is hands down one of the best I've had. Ingredients are always LOADED and fresh. We ordered extra of one topping today just because. Unlike most places, PJs did not skimp! The sauce is amazing and always has just the perfect amount. I don't honestly know how it's possible to be so consistent (I mean we are talking pizza here) but it's another thing PJs is great at. Something else that is A-F*ckn-mazing. We have a credit from our loyalty rewards, for a free pizza and salad, that expires at the end of the month and they reminded us of this! I've never had a place that remind me something is expiring they are giving me for FREE. Thank you PJ for the extra spice you treat your customers with. I came to write a review even though we typically get our orders in Cross Plains. “6 of us,, 3 Ordered the chicken Alfredo it's the Thursday special however its not on the in house menu, it was good,2 Ordered Philly cheese steak sandwich,was very dry, menu said served with aujus however the menu isn't updated so no aujus.1 Ordered a burger it was OK, it took one hour to get our order.This is another one of those are you a bar or a restaurant? I would like to try other food options but need an updated menu, maybe they could just make prints off the one on the internet for in house?? Maybe precook some items so it doesn't take as long to get the food out. Pricey.Same music and TV scene over and over and over. Might be back???“
