“The food was made and delivered in a timely fashion, the order was exactly as we specified online, and the delivery driver was courteous and kind, even when our dogs decided they needed to say "hello." The driver even helped us diffuse the dog situation by giving them a little attention, allowing us to regain control. Two thumbs and tails, way up!“
“The store was slammed on Halloween night. I placed and paid for an order online along with over 100 tickets to be filled between 3:30 and 5:30. I told the manager that I would come back the next night for my order. The next night I came back and my order was lost in the shuffle. I phoned the next day and the manager was expecting to hear from me. He was very apologetic and said he wanted to correct all the confusion. He refunded my payment and he also filled my order. I felt this was handled incredibly well. This is what customer service should be. The Pizza's are always excellent and am trying the calzones with this order. This shop always does a great job at filling orders and is very polite. Of course, we will be returning. I highly recommend the service and quality of food here. If you happen to see a bad review take a look at the date of the review. This shop is cureently doing a great jhob.“
“Wonderful experience for dinner at Salvatore’s, E Wash & Livingston, Madison, WI.Crispy Calabrese Tofu was exquisite. Pizza great! Manda’s service was above and beyond. She was great with my 7 year old granddaughter!Vegetarian options: Crispy Calabrese Tofu exquisite!“
“Cocktails and Misto salad were fantastic. Pizza was ok. This was our first visit and we’ll try pasta next time. Waitress was great.Parking: We had a 5pm reservation and the parking lot was already full. Give yourself enough time to hunt down a spot in the neighborhood. Not too difficult“
“Totally my kind of Vibe, Top shelf bourbon, Aged beef, deserts out of this world, cheeses, and so much more, great owners and staff, this was a gem to find in Wisconsin, im a huge foodie, and this pizza was THE best in Wisconsin, and is right there on top of my all time list!! A good meal makes your day, and this was a good day!!!“
“Unassuming little food/ice cream spot. Had a slice of pizza and it was amazing. It has a nice crispy crust. The prices are very reasonable here. There is a small arcade attached with a lot of retro games. We enjoyed coming here. Staff was great as well. I will definitely return for that delicious pizza!!“
“Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Walked in and everyone was very pleasant. Ordered a special Octoberfest pizza which was bomb, rotating specials. They have a great relationship with their purchased goods and comes across in their food. Loved all the staff.“
“Great pizza! Wish it was a little crunchier, but generally my favorite in Madison I've had so far. The ranch was excellent. And the marinara is good. The red sauce is outstanding. It is NOT marinara, its sweeter and silkier, very good.“
“Really good pizza at a fair price. We got the Salsiccia and the Lombarda. The Salsiccia was definitely the better pizza but both were very tasty in different ways. The tomato sauce shines through! Novanta is a great option when you want something different than the greasy standard pizza.“
“I stopped here for the first time because I had an appointment a few buildings next door. What a nice little restaurant. It is super family-friendly, and you can tell the food is authentic. Excellent Service as well, they were super accommodating for handicapped people Very friendly. I really enjoyed the pizza I had there today.“
“Definitely has character. Small but a fair amount of seating. Tried several food items, appetizers, pizza, dessert. Everything tasted great.Vegetarian options: There were a few good veggie options. Not a wide variety.Parking: Pretty busy area. May have to park a couple blocks away.Kid-friendliness: It's pretty cramped and loud. Not the best for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wide enough inside to maneuver a wheelchair.“
“Pizza is fresh and handmade, I oftentimes arrive to find them removing it from the oven. The service is a bit on the slower side, so order at least 30-40 minutes in advance. It's quite busy, especially on Friday nights but takeout is easy. The pizza is decent, but at times slightly burnt on one side. 9/10 it's good“
“We just went for the first time, and it was fantastic. Attentive and friendly staff, and everything we ordered was amazing - from the drinks to the entrees (prime rib, lasagna, and a pizza) to the desserts (profiteroles and oh, that creme brulee!). We will be back, regularly, and we recommend it!“
“This is a speak easy that needs to be on the map. If you are looking for a great place to eat in Madison, you really need to find this place. It one of the best places to eat in town and is completely different than the average restaurants around town. I ordered a Chicken teriyaki type dish and it was amazing. This place packs a punch when it comes to flavor! Even their Wisconsin Old Fashion is amazing, if you have never had it you better ask for it quick and make sure to ask for a second before you start the first one. The vibe is great for a date night or just to hangout with some friends. The next time I'm in town I will be eating here again. I loved it.“
“Fantastic Experience at The Log Tavern in Lodi, WisconsinBefore heading to a basketball game, my family and I decided to grab a bite at The Log Tavern in Lodi, Wisconsin. I must say, it was an excellent decision! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, perfect for a pre-game meal. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the pizza. It was phenomenal, with a perfect crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. It's clear that they use high-quality ingredients, and it truly made a difference in taste. We also tried the pretzel appetizer, which was incredible. The service at The Log Tavern was awesome. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's always great to see staff who genuinely care about their customers' experience.Lastly, we had the chance to meet the owners, who were very cool. They took the time to chat with us and made us feel like valued guests. It's evident that they put a lot of love and effort into their establishment. Our visit to The Log Tavern was a fantastic experience. Great food, wonderful service, and a cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area for a game or any other occasion. Highly recommend!“
“We had a delicious Calvino's Pizza while we were enjoying the 'Dueling Pianos' event on the grounds at Windsor Country Club recently. There are lots of options available and we plan to go back soon to try other variations of Calvino's Pizza!“
“The food here was fantastic, rarely do we see a menu with so many things we would like to try. We settled on the cheese curds and the al pastor pizza which both turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more. Please note that as described this is a Wisconsin take on Detroit style pizza, so if you're expecting a fluffy light crust you will be disappointed. It was however incredibly reminiscent of something you would get at pequods. The cheese curds are not your basic curds and I appreciate that both team ranch and marinara get equal representation here. The cocktail list was another really interesting list, my girlfriend got the special cocktail which was excellent, it had some lingo around rum on it which was a little confusing and even more confusingly was clipped to the mocktail sheet. The beer list wasn't exactly as local as I was hoping (a lot of founders on it...) but I ended up with the barleywine and a truly wonderful and refreshing cyser. We can't wait to go back and try the stromboli, the bruschetta or a red sauce pizza!“
“They offer gluten-free pizza which I appreciate. I eat here often and I don't believe I have ever gotten sick from their pizza which is saying quite a bit since I have celiac disease and need to worry about cross contamination. I wish the gluten-free crust was better - it is very thin and often quite hard. However, that's pretty typical of gluten-free pizza crust just about anywhere you go. Everything else about their pizza is perfect.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options“
“Villa Dolce is a consistently wonderful experience. No matter what day of week, or week of year, the service is impeccable, the bartenders are talented, the food is amazing, and the overall experience is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!!“
“Every time we have picked up at Bucks it has been an amazing experience! Greatest crispy crust, perfect amount & blend of cheeses, we love, love it with sausage & jalapeño. We can't wait to get home to eat it! Something about Bucks consistently amazing!“
“Food is actually very good and underrated. If you have the right person making it, one of the best burgers in town. There can be a mixed crowd - both in size and type. I've seen some gang bikers there, so be careful what you say. But everyone has treated me great every time in. Went once for breakfast and it was overbooked/burnt. I will try again another time, but I usually go for the night food/fun. Bartenders are the best!“
“I’d confidently say this is the best bread bakery in Madison. Their breads made with such craftsmanship that you can eat the bread without anything and it is delicious! Thank you team Origin Bread for spoiling us with such quality work and ingredients. So so good! The staff is so warm, welcoming and friendly. Love their products.“
“Went for a bit to watch the basketball game. Without the patio being open it was quite full and limited seating. The turkey blt was good and the onion rings were great! The pizza here is really good as well! Service was attentive and quick. It was pretty loud with the TV's and people talking/yelling.“
“It was crazy busy downtown with State Boys Basketball Tournaments. When my family arrived, the line was to the outside door. However, the line moved very fast! Our pizza was tasty and hot. They did a great job making sure everyone got what they ordered.“
“Want a pizza that's not considered the "norm"?Want to have quick, & friendly service?Want to have some of the best customary pizza in the industry?Glaee Nickel Pizza Co is it. Doesn't matter which location. You will get hit with their amazing service, and explosive flavors at any of em!“
“Having lived in Manhattan for a decade, I’m here to say that this is the closest anyone is going to get in Madison, WI to a true New York City slice of pizza. Al, who hails from the Bronx, runs a tight ship; the place is clean, and there is plenty of table space and booths seating. The pies are fresh, with myriad specialty topping choices, the likes of which one would find in an NYC pizzeria. My slices were piping hot, molten specimens of beauty; the crust was a little gooey, a little crispy, never burned. I’ll be back, and plan to bring a crew.“
“We love everything about this restaurant!! Great staff, food and decor!! Emily was so friendly at the bar! Make sure to check out the facade under the counter at the bar! It was handmade with individually painted golf balls— very cool look! We were super lucky to have Kyle, who normally bartends, as our server— he’s absolutely hilarious and we had a ton of fun with him!! And the calzones are so good, as are their salads and fries w/ aioli!! Keep up the great work everyone! We appreciate you!!!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are yummy: soups, salads, mushroom cheese & spinach calzonesParking: Plenty of free parking“
“Tasty pizza with thick crust if you order the Detroit style; Very filling. This is a hole in the wall take out place; The cashier ignored me while he chatted with the other employees; I’d go back for the pizza, maybe try a thinner crust; but then that is personal taste. Service not worthy of a tip.“
“This is Hands DOWN….best pizza in Wisconsin, 10 out of 10, the employees are friendly, caring and the chef is second to none, all his pizzas are made with tinder love and care. I have ate there the last 5 days in a row for a reason??? best pizza in Wisconsin and I’m willing to die on that hill I never been hooked on pizza until I ate here.“
“Delicious food and a great automosphere that feels as authentic as Italian food in Wisconsin can get. Prices are also great!Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I remember, no steps to get into the building (there is a ramp) and there is enough room between tables to maneuver a wheelchair, however the hallway to enter might be cramped for a wheelchair“
“The vegan Mac n' cheese pizza is the best thing ever. The home made plant based cheese sauce is SO good and it really sets it apart from any other vegan pizza I've had.Sometimes plant-based cheeses tend to be gummy, and this is not the case at all here. Highly recommend getting this pizza, vegan or not! ☺️“
“Don't write this place off just because it's in a hotel. Unlike any other hotel restaurant I've been in. Fantastic service. Delicious food and drink. Reasonable prices. We dined here two nights in a row it's so “
“I have to admit, I did not have high expectations of this pizza place, but was pleasantly surprised. The high reviews did not disappoint. I had the Pomodoro, which was a vegetarian pie with Cacciatore tomatoes, mozzarella, sautéed greens, & feta. It was so delicious. Dave Portnoy with One-Bite gives this place a 6.9, which I think is a solid score and on par to what I would give it. I did think the pizza was a bit expensive, but you can get it by the slice, so that's cool.“
“I really like their pizza and wings but the awesome part for me are their salads. They are a large, containing a great variety of vegetables which are fresh, and a good selection of dressing. For $10 I can add this to my pizza order because not everyone feels like getting pizza at a big gathering. I bought a few for one of our parties and they were hit, the Italian.“
“Our server was great but seemed to have a lot of tables. We had veggie skillet, meat skillet and breakfast tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meal, clean plates all around. We will be back!Dietary restrictions: Food allergies were handled well, dairy, soy and nut allergies.“
“This place is crazy. If you didn't know it was there you would never find it. They are only open 4-8, so you must plan ahead. They have the best thin crust bar style pie. You enter this building and go downstairs, even though there is no signage. It is like going into a speak-easy. Would highly recommend, bring your friends, they will be impressed.“
“Wings are amazing and chocolate chip cookies are perfection. Flavor, quantity and quality of toppings on the garden veggie pizza with added gyro meat were great...but the pizza was undercooked by a lot. Onions and peppers were still completely crunchy and cool, cheese was just barely melted and the crust was honestly closer to dough. there is an option to order the pizza" well done" that I'll definitely check in the future. However, even though this is my first Pizza Pit pizza, I think this was unintentionally to raw and probably not the way they usually do them. I guess the good news is that we had a lot of leftover pizza, and the rawness made reheating it taste like fresh pizza instead of reheated. I think this was probably a random occurrence, and I will definitely order from this place again.“
“Stopped in for "Friday Fish". In this case, baked cod with a side of cheesy potatoes was very good.I ordered a cup of clam chowder to be served before my meal, but the service tonight was so fast that my soup and dinner were served nearly simultaneously!!I especially liked the warm melted butter served with this meal, like it should be.The atmosphere is perhaps a "traditional" WI locale, but the dining area is small, so you'll have to wither sit at the bar or on the bar area ?. It's not exactly a drawback if you grew up in WI as that is part of the culture. If you didn't grow up here, you may object to the bar if you have children.“
“We had our son's birthday party here. We opted to have it from 8-10 am on a Saturday before they opened and it was so worth it. The food was what we expected, it was clean, and our party host Aurora (and Bianca) were wonderful and so helpful! It did get busy as soon as they opened at 10, but we enjoyed having the whole place to ourselves at the price of getting up early on a Saturday.Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the games and having Chuck E Cheese himself come out for the birthday party and dance with the kids.“
“A culinary haven where every bite is a work of art and every glance at the plate feels like a discovery. The presentation is a testament to their craft, and the ambiance is a warm, inviting embrace. Suggesting this place to friends feels less like a recommendation and more like a well-guarded secret being shared.“
“I love their quality of pizza but the I’ve had a few problems with their costumer service they have taken a while to make just one pizza (at the West Towne Mall in Madison) even though I’ve gotten free pizza because of the problem, I still had to wait and I had to run arrands. Overall, their food is great.“
“Everytime we order from DeForest pizza hut the workers are professional & polite. It's clear this business cares about their customers & stresses that to their employees. The food is always as expected & made the way ordered.“
“The gluten free crust was delicious and I watched the folks working change their gloves when they were handling my pizza to prevent cross contamination. It’s a bit of an awkward wait (longer than you’d expect), and I wouldn’t recommend eating at the tables inside unless the weather is poor. Go outside and enjoy the view!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust is available.“
“You're always greeted with a friendly hello as you walk in. The pizzas are assembled fast, I rarely order ahead. The gourmet vegetarian is out of this world. My wife loves the chunks of artichoke hearts. I always add pepperoni to the mix.“
“Not only was the food fabulous (as usual), but Mark at this location went ABOVE AND BEYOND for a super specific request I had regarding a receipt for an order from about six weeks ago. It was so appreciated and he was extremely helpful and friendly!“
“Amazing service. Today I picked up 6 pizzas for my daughter’s birthday party. Some of the pizzas had varying needs to accommodate food allergies. One of our sons has severe food allergies and some of our guests kids had other allergies. When I picked up the pizzas, the gentleman who handed me the pizzas let me know how they were prepared; to keep us informed of what was done for the pizzas. I was very appreciative of this and so was my wife when I told her what he told me. I’ve been to this location a number of times and it’s been great service and food every time. Highly recommend!“
“?????Customer Ser,?? is A1? here! I thought there kindness & compassion is Awesome.? Thanks Guy's!!i gotta start remembering yalls name . ✌?✌?✌?“
“We finally ordered Zoe's for pick up last night. I had 1/2 vegan pepperoni 1/2 vegan pesto. Husband got regular cheese and garlic knots. I have been crazing pepperoni (vegetarian, which from most places is not at all like I remember pepperoni). Zoe's was EXCELLENT. The vegan pesto pizza was really good to. Whatever vegan cheese they are using is better than many places. The middle of my pizza was a little wet/floppy. Not perfection, but hey I will take based on how good the rest was. Could be a vegan cheese related issue?? My husband liked his pizza but didn't love it. He said it was chewy - he ordered hand tossed crust and said he would try a different one next time.Vegetarian options: There is a vegan menu - someone posted a photo on the Madison Area Vegans Facebook page. The online ordering system has vegan options, but there are more on the menu.“
