My partner is from New York. I've never been, so I have no frame of reference. He almost teared up. He said this pizza is the closest to New York slices in Madison.We went there on Thursday 2/8/24 for our anniversary and I have not been able to stop thinking about how effing good it was.I'd eat there every day if I could.The owner Dennis is a fresh breath of East Coast air.
I love the pizza here. You have to get a "fried dough" dessert/side! It's like Navajo fry bread, or a "utah scone". Hot, crisp, & fluffy pizza dough, then they sprinkle powdered sugar and cinnamon on top. It is amazing.My family liked the fries too, but they ate them so fast I didn't get a taste. I was too focused on my awesome pizza anyway. Great topping selection. Terrific food, so good!The games are fun too. Bathroom is kinda dirty. Unassuming little food/ice cream spot. Had a slice of pizza and it was amazing. It has a nice crispy crust. The prices are very reasonable here. There is a small arcade attached with a lot of retro games. We enjoyed coming here. Staff was great as well. I will definitely return for that delicious pizza!!
