“Love this quaint Pizza Bar Restaurant! Affordable, good gluten free pizza and large pours of wine for a great price! Very local feel, friendly and if you don’t want to sit at the bar, there is a dining area. I highly recommend Spartan Pizza!“
“I ordered 4 subs for dinner. Each sub had its own different toppings and everything was perfect. The bread was awesome and I would recommend this place anytime. I ordered the subs for pickup. I sent the order around 11am but didn't want to pick it up until 4pm. The order was ready, fresh and great!“
“I love Pizza Hut, but cannot have it as much as I would like. Reason: I am on a keto diet regimen. Having a Pizza Hut dinner is a treat for me. If Pizza Hut would come up with a truly keto diet friendly dinner menu item, I would have to strongly agree on any positive statement. The food services industry has yet to prove to me they support people who are on a keto diet. It is an untapped industry space. Go for it Pizza Hut!!“
“Wonderful experience for dinner at Salvatore’s, E Wash & Livingston, Madison, WI.Crispy Calabrese Tofu was exquisite. Pizza great! Manda’s service was above and beyond. She was great with my 7 year old granddaughter!Vegetarian options: Crispy Calabrese Tofu exquisite!“
“Cocktails and Misto salad were fantastic. Pizza was ok. This was our first visit and we’ll try pasta next time. Waitress was great.Parking: We had a 5pm reservation and the parking lot was already full. Give yourself enough time to hunt down a spot in the neighborhood. Not too difficult“
“Unassuming little food/ice cream spot. Had a slice of pizza and it was amazing. It has a nice crispy crust. The prices are very reasonable here. There is a small arcade attached with a lot of retro games. We enjoyed coming here. Staff was great as well. I will definitely return for that delicious pizza!!“
“Great pizza! Wish it was a little crunchier, but generally my favorite in Madison I've had so far. The ranch was excellent. And the marinara is good. The red sauce is outstanding. It is NOT marinara, its sweeter and silkier, very good.“
“Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Walked in and everyone was very pleasant. Ordered a special Octoberfest pizza which was bomb, rotating specials. They have a great relationship with their purchased goods and comes across in their food. Loved all the staff.“
“Definitely has character. Small but a fair amount of seating. Tried several food items, appetizers, pizza, dessert. Everything tasted great.Vegetarian options: There were a few good veggie options. Not a wide variety.Parking: Pretty busy area. May have to park a couple blocks away.Kid-friendliness: It's pretty cramped and loud. Not the best for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wide enough inside to maneuver a wheelchair.“
“As a walk in who has never heard of the place before my stop I was entertained by the layout and the photos. Service was great and the pizza was pretty tasty. Needed more sauce around the edges. Crust got pretty dry and chewy. Would definitely return if I was in the area again. I know they are moving locations so uncertain how that will affect my chances.“
“Pizza is fresh and handmade, I oftentimes arrive to find them removing it from the oven. The service is a bit on the slower side, so order at least 30-40 minutes in advance. It's quite busy, especially on Friday nights but takeout is easy. The pizza is decent, but at times slightly burnt on one side. 9/10 it's good“
“We just went for the first time, and it was fantastic. Attentive and friendly staff, and everything we ordered was amazing - from the drinks to the entrees (prime rib, lasagna, and a pizza) to the desserts (profiteroles and oh, that creme brulee!). We will be back, regularly, and we recommend it!“
“This is a speak easy that needs to be on the map. If you are looking for a great place to eat in Madison, you really need to find this place. It one of the best places to eat in town and is completely different than the average restaurants around town. I ordered a Chicken teriyaki type dish and it was amazing. This place packs a punch when it comes to flavor! Even their Wisconsin Old Fashion is amazing, if you have never had it you better ask for it quick and make sure to ask for a second before you start the first one. The vibe is great for a date night or just to hangout with some friends. The next time I'm in town I will be eating here again. I loved it.“
“The food here was fantastic, rarely do we see a menu with so many things we would like to try. We settled on the cheese curds and the al pastor pizza which both turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more. Please note that as described this is a Wisconsin take on Detroit style pizza, so if you're expecting a fluffy light crust you will be disappointed. It was however incredibly reminiscent of something you would get at pequods. The cheese curds are not your basic curds and I appreciate that both team ranch and marinara get equal representation here. The cocktail list was another really interesting list, my girlfriend got the special cocktail which was excellent, it had some lingo around rum on it which was a little confusing and even more confusingly was clipped to the mocktail sheet. The beer list wasn't exactly as local as I was hoping (a lot of founders on it...) but I ended up with the barleywine and a truly wonderful and refreshing cyser. We can't wait to go back and try the stromboli, the bruschetta or a red sauce pizza!“
“They offer gluten-free pizza which I appreciate. I eat here often and I don't believe I have ever gotten sick from their pizza which is saying quite a bit since I have celiac disease and need to worry about cross contamination. I wish the gluten-free crust was better - it is very thin and often quite hard. However, that's pretty typical of gluten-free pizza crust just about anywhere you go. Everything else about their pizza is perfect.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options“
“Every time we have picked up at Bucks it has been an amazing experience! Greatest crispy crust, perfect amount & blend of cheeses, we love, love it with sausage & jalapeño. We can't wait to get home to eat it! Something about Bucks consistently amazing!“
“Best place for Pizza in Stoughton! Owned and operated by one of the most respeonsible and respectful guys youll meet, this pizza spot even features a fro yo stand instead of ice cream. Overall a patriotic, affordable, chill atmosphere. The food is great, (famous for their breadsticks) and the staff is hard working, though they are young enough to keep the place fresh.Dietary restrictions: The menu is so extensive. You are sure to find something youll like. Dont believe me? Try it out!“
“Food is actually very good and underrated. If you have the right person making it, one of the best burgers in town. There can be a mixed crowd - both in size and type. I've seen some gang bikers there, so be careful what you say. But everyone has treated me great every time in. Went once for breakfast and it was overbooked/burnt. I will try again another time, but I usually go for the night food/fun. Bartenders are the best!“
“This place knows pizza! Lucas is a small business that truly cares about its customers and the food they serve. When you have the time go get a pizza cooked to perfection, there are plenty of options to help any craving you having, go to Lucas for food leave Luca with a smile(and food of course)“
“Went for a bit to watch the basketball game. Without the patio being open it was quite full and limited seating. The turkey blt was good and the onion rings were great! The pizza here is really good as well! Service was attentive and quick. It was pretty loud with the TV's and people talking/yelling.“
“We order from Papa Jimmy's at least once every couple of weeks. They always have our order ready on time- delivered or pick up. They have really good pizza and we love the extra sprinkled breadsticks! Continues to be a family favorite in this home.“
“It was crazy busy downtown with State Boys Basketball Tournaments. When my family arrived, the line was to the outside door. However, the line moved very fast! Our pizza was tasty and hot. They did a great job making sure everyone got what they ordered.“
“Having lived in Manhattan for a decade, I’m here to say that this is the closest anyone is going to get in Madison, WI to a true New York City slice of pizza. Al, who hails from the Bronx, runs a tight ship; the place is clean, and there is plenty of table space and booths seating. The pies are fresh, with myriad specialty topping choices, the likes of which one would find in an NYC pizzeria. My slices were piping hot, molten specimens of beauty; the crust was a little gooey, a little crispy, never burned. I’ll be back, and plan to bring a crew.“
“I’d confidently say this is the best bread bakery in Madison. Their breads made with such craftsmanship that you can eat the bread without anything and it is delicious! Thank you team Origin Bread for spoiling us with such quality work and ingredients. So so good! The staff is so warm, welcoming and friendly. Love their products.“
“Delicious food and a great automosphere that feels as authentic as Italian food in Wisconsin can get. Prices are also great!Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I remember, no steps to get into the building (there is a ramp) and there is enough room between tables to maneuver a wheelchair, however the hallway to enter might be cramped for a wheelchair“
“This is Hands DOWN….best pizza in Wisconsin, 10 out of 10, the employees are friendly, caring and the chef is second to none, all his pizzas are made with tinder love and care. I have ate there the last 5 days in a row for a reason??? best pizza in Wisconsin and I’m willing to die on that hill I never been hooked on pizza until I ate here.“
“The vegan Mac n' cheese pizza is the best thing ever. The home made plant based cheese sauce is SO good and it really sets it apart from any other vegan pizza I've had.Sometimes plant-based cheeses tend to be gummy, and this is not the case at all here. Highly recommend getting this pizza, vegan or not! ☺️“
“I have to admit, I did not have high expectations of this pizza place, but was pleasantly surprised. The high reviews did not disappoint. I had the Pomodoro, which was a vegetarian pie with Cacciatore tomatoes, mozzarella, sautéed greens, & feta. It was so delicious. Dave Portnoy with One-Bite gives this place a 6.9, which I think is a solid score and on par to what I would give it. I did think the pizza was a bit expensive, but you can get it by the slice, so that's cool.“
“The prime medallion and meatball sandwich were delicious. I found the calamari to be over battered. I can't recommend the squash side. It tasted like it had been grilled in old grease. Over all good food and great service. I'd go back.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids! Very kid friendly.“
“This pizza was fantastic! We had stopped buying Pizza Hut pizzas years ago because the taste went down-hill and cost went up. We only went to Pizza Hut this time because everyone else was closed on Easter, and we're glad we did! Now the pizza tastes GREAT, and the price was surprisingly low!“
“Best wings in the area. When first moving here we tried other places, once we found Rosati’s the search was over and we only order pizza and wings from them. My wife doesn’t even care for buffalo wings but she loves theirs so it’s now a requirement to order some every time we get pizza. Delivery drivers have always been super friendly and on time if not earlier than the estimated arrival.“
“Don't write this place off just because it's in a hotel. Unlike any other hotel restaurant I've been in. Fantastic service. Delicious food and drink. Reasonable prices. We dined here two nights in a row it's so “
“Take out only, so atmosphere gets a low grade here, but the pizza is to die for. Service is decent, nothing great about it, it's the food that people keep coming back for.If you like pizza, order it here!!! The toppings are generous, the sausage is sensational, the sauce is wonderful and the crust is simply the best. Flaky, light, flavorful, the perfect thickness... Honestly, Maria's ruins pizza for me because nobody else compares. There's pizza, and there's Maria's pizza. A league of their own.Parking: They have a small parking lot next to the building, but it really only has room for 4-5 cars. Maria's is an Oregon hotspot, so there are times that parking can be difficult, but generally it's okay.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from the parking lot to the door which has a low grade to it, so i would think it's an easier ramp than some.“
“I was having problems with my online order and when i called Thomas answered the phone and was so helpful! Some of the best customer service i’ve had in a very long time! He even called me back after we were disconnected! went above and beyond to help! Give Thomas a raise!! lol“
“This place is crazy. If you didn't know it was there you would never find it. They are only open 4-8, so you must plan ahead. They have the best thin crust bar style pie. You enter this building and go downstairs, even though there is no signage. It is like going into a speak-easy. Would highly recommend, bring your friends, they will be impressed.“
“Great pizza, great price, and great service. My girlfriend and myself have ordered from here multiple times and have loved it every time. She gets a gluten free pizza which is hard for her to find one that's actually good and they've got it! I typically get a calzone which is crisp crunchy, and stuffed full.Vegetarian options: Can order dishes without meat on it.Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten free items.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramp and parking available.“
“Wow… this Rocky’s has it all! Fresh slices… breadsticks dusted with parmesan, that classic sausage we all know and love… ah yeah. This place rules. They know what they’re doing here. The atmosphere is top tier. The table by the fire, the arcade, they keep it clean up in here!I’ll be back again, and again. This place rules.“
“This was our first visit (lunch for three adults). We were all quite impressed with the pizza by the slice. Very tasty and we understand that one of the "secrets" is a special combination of cheeses and it is special. The crust was quite good as well. All the slices are described as deep-dish pizza slices. Don' be afraid of the deep-dish category, it is "just right". I will go back. We also tried the mac and cheese. Tasty and a sizeable portion! Note too that although the menu has at least two fancy French frie items they actually also have regular fries which were very good. We are looking forward to going back for dinner and trying the deck when the weather turns.“
“Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, reasonable prices and great service. THIS IS A MADE TO ORDER RESTAURANT FOLKS!! You shouldn’t come here if you only have 30 minutes to eat only to then complain about the wait. The food is so well worth the wait. Soak in the atmosphere, enjoy a glass of wine, order their chèvre artichoke dip or bruschetta to get you started and relax. A few of our dinner favorites are The Great pizza, Chicken Marsala, Penne with homemade sausage, Butternut Squash Ravioli (their pink sauce is amazing), Analisas Favorite and their homemade tiramisu for dessert is to die for. Take in the fact that this is a small family owned restaurant that puts so much love into their food, you can taste it in every bite. They treat their employees like family and if you’re lucky enough, the owners will come out to share their stories in between the hard work they are putting in to feed you like you’re sitting at their dining room table. Give yourself time to go there, relax and you’ll quickly see how wonderful of a little gem LaRoccas is <3“
“Absolutely great experience, I was waiting in my vehicle when one of the store’s supervisors Hunter Jackson brought me out my large thing crust pizza with mini pepperonis. I was pleasantly surprised to see him at my car window. Not only is the customer service great, but that was the best take and bake pizza I have ever eaten. The pizza was great, and the chees bread was top tier.Thank you, Hunter and the Oregon Papa Murpheys crew!“
“We had a wonderful Friday fish fry experience. After a short wait and a tasty cocktail we were seated. My wife had the fried cod and I had the grilled Maui Maui. Both meals were delicious and the service was excellent. We are always pleased with the consistent great food and service we receive at Angelo's!“
