The bar tender was very nice and fast. It’s your typical small town grungy bar, I expected bar food for sure. That’s fine. But at the very least, you have to do some quality control. I ordered the 1/4 single burger with American cheese and everything on it. Frozen, flavorless patty, shredded lettuce that was brown, mushy and wilted, a tomato that tasted like plastic and the Diet Coke that I ordered was completely flat and tasted like cleaning chemicals. Bar food is fine for sure but at the very least, have some quality control before someone gets sick.

We bike the White River Trail on Friday nights and happened to stop in to a very delightful seafood meal. The cook is very friendly and his food is delicious. Not your normal bar food, I would highly recommend it !!!

My boyfriend and I stopped in just to grab a quick lunch and were happily surprised to find out that today was the first day the new owner (Josh) was offering a home-cooked fish fry menu, lovingly planned and prepared by his incredible chef Jason.
Jason is a true gem and an amazing cook - every detail is thoughtfully executed. His passion for cooking shines through in every dish.
We ordered one of everything and shared our baskets to sample it all, I only wish we had taken photos of it because it all looked as good as it tasted.
The oversized shrimp were lightly battered and perfectly seasoned; the Ahi tuna sandwich, homemade coleslaw and rice and beans (with collard greens) were all super delicious - but the jalapeño clam hush puppies were my faves and were absolutely amazing!
The service and atmosphere of the entire bar is warm, inviting and very welcoming.
Every Friday through May (for now) Jason plans to cook up more creative home cooked dishes and we can’t wait to go back - you should go too!

Small town bar, with good bar food options. Pool hall on the lower level. Best option for local tournaments. Gluten free pizza and beer…

Stopped in while walking the trail. Had no idea of the food or service. Excellent service! Great burger we shared. Potato wedges spot on. The cook cut in half perfectly to share.

a piece of REAL wisconsin!

stopped in on friday night to have fish fry {fish fry was from ellie railton / wild mushroom pop up restaurant}.

ellie’s fried cod was perhaps the best i’ve EVER had.

service — courtesy of bonnie and betty’s — was TOP NOTCH.

as a previous reviewer mentioned, you WILL be served with plastic ware / paper plate — DO NOT let this detract from the meal.
the fish fry is WELL WORTH eating with plastic ware. didn’t bother us a bit!!!

I had the fish fry, fish was ok.
Potato pancakes,horrible
But the worst was you have to eat with plastic fork and knife.
And food is on a paper plate.
Will never go there again.
