They were out of everything and I ordered the vodka pasta which stated it comes with burata.. it surely did NOT and it tasted like the worst jarred vodka pasta I’ve ever had. Expensive to add chicken and there was like 2 bites of chicken included.

Gem, some spicier choices pasta wise which is my thing, but some may want to ask to go easy on the chili flake.

Vodka sauce was good not great for me, but a tad unfair criticism since I can't describe why. I just like a few others better like Fantico's in Whitewater or some of the higher end Madison Italian places.

Service was phenomenal, caring, sincere and food was fast. I had an excellent Manhattan with some custom house tweaks, highly recommend if that is your type of drink.

We will be back, Bravo.

The menu was a little hard to understand but the server helped us. More unique or likely traditional Italian food but we found something we liked. The food was very filling. The atmosphere was fine but noisy.

The interior space is small but atmospheric. There were some mistakes on the part of the restaurant, such as the wrong menu, but thanks to our server Tanner's good response, we were able to enjoy our meal satisfactorily. I enjoyed the creamy seafood fettuccine, but my wife especially liked the tomato-based penne pasta. It looks simple, but my wife praised it because it was seasoned and cooked perfectly and went well with the cheese. The ragu sauce rigatoni was the worst, with a heavier taste than expected.

A hidden gem in downtown Madison. If you love Italian food, give this place a try! The crostini is out of this world and the pasta dishes (both the ziti and fettuccini) are delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in the Madison area!

There was a cockroach on our ToGo container. They didn't comp our meal or anything other than a simple apology. Probably won't be going back here anytime soon. Food was fine.

They really have some exceptional dishes here, but please talk to Heinz about their 57 varieties.

My fiancé and I rolled into Madison this week to celebrate our anniversary and boy are we glad we stopped by 107 State! The crostini was so ridiculously good that we devoured it in approximately two seconds and promptly asked for more. I could've housed an entire bucket of fettuccine, but they clearly know what they’re doing because the portions were spot on. Jeremy was a fantastic server, very friendly with prompt service. Cheers to 107 State for a fantastic dinner!

I was looking for something to eat and when I entered, I INSTANTLY got accused of loitering with THREATS made against me simply because I wanted something to eat and was NEVER told that only the bar was open.

Great place to get pasta in the city. Great location, the ambiance is very nice with brick walls, and soft lighting. Anyone with 4-6 people will likely be in a booth.
We both loved our pastas, although we left just a little bit hungry. So good portions considering we came into the restaurant famished. It took a while for the server to get our check, otherwise it was a great experience.

Had a great dinner at 107 State last night. We started off with cocktails and my espresso martini was delicious. Perfect.

Appetizer was a blistered tomato crostini with burrata and was lovely. Layered flavor, with the creaminess of burrata and nice crunch of crostini.

We shared a pasta dish with a veal ragu, and it was EVERYTHING. Nuanced flavors and the veal was very tender.

We had a second cocktail and my dirty martini was exactly as ordered.

Would definitely recommend for thoughtful Italian, to get your burger fix, or just to have a nice craft cocktail!

Recommend this place. We sat outside on a lovely summer day, the cocktails were amazing and the waiter was very personable and helpful. I only peeked inside briefly when we arrived, but it looked like a cool vibe. Great location on State St too
