Very basic, bland breakfast. For a nice hotel, it'd be nice to see sausage, bacon available, possibly smoked salmon, more protein needed for sure.

We stayed two nights at the AC Hotel in July. We stayed here because of its proximity to the Art Fair on the Square going on that weekend and nudged by the fact that one of us is a Marriott member. This is a typical Marriott property in that there wasn’t anything outrageously bad or outrageously terrific about it; it was absolutely fine for our needs. It’s a nice, newer hotel, and our 6th floor king room was very quiet. Our room was comfy, and the bed was especially comfy. We had to clip the curtains together with skirt hangers for total darkness but it wasn’t nearly as bad as in some hotels. The shower had great temperature controls and great water pressure. The room had faux wood vinyl flooring throughout, which is trendy but felt a bit cheap. We did have a little view of the lake from our room, which was nice. The bar upstairs is very popular and has great views of the Capitol, so if you want a good seat, get there before prime time! The fitness center had lower-end Matrix cardio equipment, but it is a pretty well-stocked gym. You have a great of the Capitol here as well while you are sweating up a storm, so that is really nice! They have chilled towels and a water bottle filler (nice) but no disinfectant wipes (not nice). While we were working out, one of the cleaners just grabbed the towels and emptied the trash, so we’re not sure how clean the fitness center is kept up on a daily basis. On a related note, maid service is only if you are staying more than two days, a US hotel hangover from the pandemic years that we devoutly wish would go away. When we did ask for more water, more towels, etc things did get handled quickly, but it’s super annoying to have to ask for everything, just as it’s super annoying to make your own bed in a room you paid for. Valet is $34 a day – pricey but we thought worth it, as downtown was completely packed with people that weekend, and the parking is right under the hotel; by scanning a QR code and texting for your car from your room, by the time you get down in the (ponderously slow at times) elevator, your car is waiting for you. We would suggest skipping the $15 breakfast – we made a pass-through to check it out and, after noticing the out-of-order espresso machine and the sad assortment of things that in a lot of hotels would be part of the “breakfast included” amenity, went to a nearby restaurant. All in all, this AC Hotel isn’t bad, and if we needed to stay downtown for a reason it’s a good choice.

It’s a lovely hotel, really. The staff is simply superb in every way. The location is incredibly convenient. The photo is from the second floor of the hotel.

With a student at UW we are fairly frequent guests here and each time the experience has been great. Sean at the front desk is a marvel! We even hosted a small wedding reception here during Covid in the space adjacent to the upstairs restaurant and the staff made it so special despite the challenging times. Always clean and well maintained, great European breakfast buffet, terrific outdoor upper terrrace and solid wine bar/restaurant. All this just steps from the Capitol so put this on your list when visiting Madison.

Highly recommend. Excellent shower/bathroom. Complimentary bottles of water. Mini fridge for leftovers from any of the many nearby restaurants. Exemplary service. Valet parking. And...lots of room to open your suitcases! (I hate rooms with only one luggage rack, when surely most guests [especially couples or unrelated friends] will have at least 2 suitcases.) Here you could have 4 suitcases open if necessary. Nice view of the capitol. Would stay here again.

Laura Robert is such an amazing Fx trader. She was able to guide us through every step of the process despite the fact we were new to the trading market. She is very experienced, she made us a profit of $18,700. with an investment of $2,000 within a week, she made getting our withdrawal a easy one as she guide us through it process, She has great communication and was available any time we needed her. I would highly recommend her if you are interested in earning from forex/stock and crypto trading! DM her via Email; [email protected] Whatsap: +1 (318) 306-5421

While the location, views, and top floor restaurant/bar Eno Vino are all outstanding and helps to make this our favorite place to stay in Madison, what we really enjoy are the people. People like Matt with Valet service, Abbie at the bar or Silvia in housekeeping make the stay even better - each hard working and customer focused!

I stayed in an Executive Suite and the temperature of the room could not be increased without calls to the front desk. I called 5 different times and the temperature was 67 degrees for most of my stay. They managed to increase it to 70 on the second day I was there, which was still cold. One of the times I called the front desk I was told to close all of the curtains; this room had 10 windows and spectacular views of the Wisconsin State Capital — but there I was, sitting the dark and unable to enjoy the setting. Miraculously, the temperature rose to 73 as I was checking out of the hotel. This wouldn’t have bothered me so much if the cost wasn’t so high for the room. I may consider staying in a standard sized room when I’m in Madison but I would never pay the amount I paid for a room where you can’t control the temperature..

Poor service from front desk staff to valet parking staff. Amenities (food, coffee) poorly managed. I would likely not choose to stay at this location again in the future due to the poor service. I stay at Marriott locations worldwide and this one is truly disappointing

Junior varsity staff playing varsity ball. I really was excited for this hotel to open. Unfortunately it seems to be a franchise group that cuts corners when training the front desk staff. I’ve had three below average stays here. It’s really the front desk that offers a subpar welcome and a bad taste in your mouth when you leave. Go for the beautiful new environment. Keep your expectations very low when you are dealing with the front desk. They aren’t trained like normal Marriott properties are.

I am continually impressed by all aspect of this hotel. The room, bed, bathroom and towels are all high quality. The bar and Restaurant upstairs with a 270 view of the city is fantastic. The Seating area downstairs along with another bar make for a great meeting place. And most of all the staff at the front desk along with the GM always try to fulfill every request. Absoluletly the best.

Superb location and service. Great restaurant on the 10th floor with spectacular views of the Capitol. Valet Matt went above and beyond and was always ready with a treat for our puppy. Definitely recommend!
